While warranty registration is available on the Kasco Marine website and recommended to help track your product, keeping your original purchase receipt is the most important requirement for validation.
-
Can I run my Kasco de-icer or aerator out of water?
No. You should never run the unit out of water. Doing so can damage the seals, overheat the motor, and create dangerous conditions for the operator.

The sacrificial anode on the shaft should be inspected at least every two to three months. It must be replaced if it shows significant deterioration, turns white, or is reduced to half its original size.

What is the recommended installation depth for a Kasco de-icer?
For vertical installation, it is generally recommended to place the de-icer 4 to 6 feet deep, ensuring it is at least 1 foot off the bottom to prevent clogging from debris.
