Connect your device to the router specifically via Wi-Fi or Ethernet. Open a web browser and enter the default IP address (commonly http://192.168.1.1). Enter the username and password printed on the device label (often 'admin' and 'password' or a unique key).
Connect the master unit to your modem and power it on until LEDs are green. Place the slave/extender unit about 3 meters away and power it on. Wait for the LEDs on both units to stabilize (often solid green) to indicate successful pairing, then move the extender to your desired location.
