Fervor support FAQ
Common questions about manuals, registration, and support for this brand.
-
How do I check for gas leaks on my Fervor BBQ?
Make a solution of one part washing up liquid and three parts water. Ensure control knobs are off, turn on the gas cylinder, and brush the solution onto the hose and joints. If bubbles appear, there is a leak. Never use a naked flame to check for leaks.
-
How do I season the cast iron cooking grills?
Wash the grills with light detergent and dry them. Spread a thin coating of high smoke point oil (like Avocado or Rice Bran oil) over the entire surface. Turn the grill on Med/Low for 30 minutes to bond the oil to the cast iron.
-
What should I do if the burner does not light?
If the burner does not light after 5 clicks of the ignition, turn the control knob to the OFF position and turn off the cylinder valve. Wait 5 minutes for the gas to clear before attempting to relight.
-
How much clearance does the BBQ need from combustible materials?
The minimum clearance from any combustible material is 1000mm (1 meter) on all sides and 1000mm above the appliance. The BBQ should not be used in enclosed areas like garages or sheds.
-
How do I clean the fat tray?
Do not remove the fat tray while the BBQ is hot. Once cold, pull the grease tray out horizontally to empty food debris and clean it with warm soapy water.
