Equalizer support FAQ

Common questions about manuals, registration, and support for this brand.

  • Does the Equalizer slide-out mechanism require lubrication?

Equalizer Systems slide-out mechanisms are designed to operate without added lubrication, as grease can trap dirt and cause premature wear. A coating of WD40 or silicone spray can be applied to prevent rust.

  • How do I adjust the height of an Equalizer slide-out room?

Height adjustment is made via bolts at the end of the inner slide-out rail. For non-flat floors, the dimension from the bottom of the slide box to the top of the inner rail (B) must be equal to or greater than the dimension at the other end (A).

  • What should I do if the cylinder rod is bowing on a flat floor system?

If the cylinder rod bows, adjust the rod end jam nuts so that the cylinder is fully extended at the same time the slide room is fully extended. This prevents contact with the timing shaft.

  • How can I contact Equalizer Systems for support?

You can contact Equalizer Systems at 800-846-9659 (based on manual data). Please obtain prior authorization for warranty service.
