DNM support FAQ
Common questions about manuals, registration, and support for this brand.
-
How do I set the sag on my DNM shock?
To set the sag, sit on the bike with your full riding weight. Measure the compression displacement of the shock shaft. DNM recommends a displacement range of 15-25% of full travel for general riding. Adjust the air pressure or spring preload until this range is achieved.
-
What is the maximum air pressure for DNM air shocks?
For most DNM air shocks, the main air chamber is filled to approximately 150psi during production. The maximum air pressure must usually be limited to 250psi. Refer to your specific model's manual for exact limits.
-
How do I clean my DNM shock absorber?
Clean the exterior, main shaft, and dust seal with soft detergent and water after muddy rides. Do not use high-pressure washers as this can damage the seals. Ensure the bump rubber and surrounding area are free of debris.
-
Can I install a DNM shock on any bike?
No. You must verify the eye-to-eye length and the bushing width of your frame's mounting points before installation. Installing an incorrect length can affect the bike's geometry and safety.
