By default, GUARDIAN ATEX terminals communicate with terminals having the same configuration (16Khz audio). However, they can communicate with GUARDIAN Standard devices if a quick configuration is performed via the configuration tool. The ATEX audio quality will switch to standard (8Khz) mode during this paired use.
