Installation Instructions

TO ADJUST TOOL FOR VARIOUS FITTINGS: Set latch to Position “A” for 2006S and 2008S Splice Caps and all Termend® Lugs. Set latch to Position “B” for 2011S Splice Caps.

TO SPLICE WIRES when using Splice Caps 2006S, 2008S and 2011S with C-24 pres-SURE-tool:

1. Strip wires approximately 3/4”.
2. Insert wires through cap and twist.
3. Insert into C-24 pres-SURE-tool with latch set at appropriate position.
4. Crimp, then cut flush.

TO TERMINATE WIRES WITH TERMEND® LUGS:

1. Strip wires approximately 5/16”.
2. Slip lug on wire, with latch set to position “A.”
3. Insert into tool with flat side of lug in up position so tongue enters slot in latch. Crimp.

1. Push to lock
2. Closed for carrying
3. For 2006S and 2008S Splice Cap Crimp Connectors and Termend® Lugs
4. For 2011S Splice Caps

Approved tooling for UL Listed and CSA Certified wire connections with 2006S, 2008S and 2011S Splice Cap Crimp Connectors and all Termend® Lugs.
