Installation Guide 1: WiFi Driver

Tips
If your laptop currently cannot access the Internet, you can download the driver from another computer and transfer it to your laptop using a USB flash drive.

Install the WiFi Driver

1. Use the file extraction software on your computer to extract the downloaded file.
2. Open the extracted folder, double-click Setup.exe to install the driver. Wait until the installation is completed

Tips
To avoid driver conflicts when using the new M.2 adapter, it is recommended to uninstall the driver for the existing M.2 network adapter beforehand. (For detailed steps, see Appendix.)

Remove the Existing M.2 Network Adapter (if any) from Your Laptop

1. Shut down your laptop and make sure it’s completely powered off.
2. Open the bottom cover of your computer, locate your existing M.2 network adapter.
3. Gently disconnect the antenna connectors, then loosen and take out the existing M.2 network adapter from your laptop’s motherboard.

Install the new M.2 Adapter

1. Gently insert the new M.2 adapter into the M.2 slot on your laptop.
2. Secure the new M.2 adapter using the provided screws and screwdriver.
3. Connect the laptop antennas to the IPEX antenna connectors! on the new M.2 adapter. (You can connect the laptop antennas to any connectors)
4. Reinstall the bottom cover of your computer.

Connect to WiFi

1. Power on your laptop. Click in the bottom right corner of your screen, select your WiFi network and click Connect.
2. Enter the correct password, click Next.
3. Connected successfully. Enjoy the Internet!

Installation Guide 2: Bluetooth Driver

We here take installation on Windows 10 as an example)

Tips: Please refer to Installation Guide 1 to install the M.2 adapter on your laptop first.

 Install the Bluetooth Driver

1. Use the file extraction software on your computer to extract the downloaded file.
2. Open the extracted folder, double-click InstallDriver.cmd to install the Bluetooth driver. Wait until the installation is completed.

 Pair with Bluetooth Device

1. Right click on the Bluetooth icon in the taskbar at the bottom right corner of your screen, then click Add a Bluetooth Device.
2. Click on Add Bluetooth or other device.
3. Select Bluetooth.
4. Your computer will start scanning for nearby Bluetooth devices. In the list of available devices, choose the Bluetooth device you want to pair with.
5. Connected successfully. Enjoy the Bluetooth connection!

Appendix

(We here take steps on Windows 10 as an example)

Uninstall the existing M.2 network adapter driver on your computer.

1. Click in the bottom left corner of your screen, then click
2. Click Apps.
3. Find and uninstall the driver of the existing M.2 network adapter.

1. Q1: How to get the maximum WiFi speed from my new M.2 adapter?
   • Connect to a WiFi 6 (802.11ax) router, if available.
   • Assess whether its WiFi performance might be affected by physical barriers such as metal-infused walls, or by interference from operational electrical devices like microwave ovens and printers.
2. Q2: What kind of WiFi encryption algorithm does this WiFi adapter support to protect my network security?

4. Q4: I double-clicked InstallDriver.cmd, trying to install the Bluetooth driver, but nothing happened. What should I do?
   • Please ensure the new M.2 adapter has been correctly installed on your laptop.
   • Please ensure all files have been extracted before running InstallDriver.cmd.
5. Q5: I’ve already installed the Bluetooth driver but still can’t find the Bluetooth icon in the taskbar, what should I do?
   Here are a few possible reasons and solutions to the issue:
   • Bluetooth is not enabled. Please click the Start button, then go to Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices, and toggle Bluetooth to turn it On.
   • Driver is not correctly installed. Uninstall all old Bluetooth drivers and reinstall the latest Bluetooth driver for the new M.2 adapter.
   • The new M.2 adapter is not correctly installed on your computer. Open Device Manager to check if the new M.2 adapter is installed correctly in your computer. If not, open the bottom cover of your computer and reinstall the new M.2 adapter.
