50 YEARS OF ANALOG DESIGN IN ONE SINGLE PLUGIN.
Introducing the Heritage Audio BritStrip plugin. A true recreation of Heritage Audio’s very own BritStrip CONSOLE CHANNEL STRIP, a modern classic in thousands of studios around the World.
The BritStrip CONSOLE CHANNEL STRIP plugin combines our 73-style preamp with the classic British-style EQ, and our unique diode-bridge compressor into a vibe-infused all-in-one plugin.
On top of these amazing features, the BritStrip also allows for flexible internal routing: Equalising pre-compression makes the compression detector more sensitive to the boosted frequencies and less sensitive to those cut. Inversely, equalising post compression makes the detector insensitive to the EQ settings.
2 VERSIONS DEPENDING ON YOUR NEEDS
We just can’t stay still, can we? When we first designed the BritStrip plugin it was the perfect match for our i73® PRO line of interfaces as it pairs seamlessly with its 73 style analog preamps. But once people started to take the native plugin for a spin, they saw the potential the BritStrip has on its own. So the only question left was … Is the BritStrip a BritStrip without Heritage Audio’s signature 73 style preamp? The anwser is … we dont know … you tell us!
So in order not to have to answer this question, we have, for the first time ever, modeled our praised 73 style preamp into a second version of the BritStrip so you can decide wether you want to use the current lighter BritStrip without the preamp or the full version with our signature 73 style preamp modeled to perfection.
