Installation Instructions
BC-4001 Temperature Sensor
The Boat Command Temperature Sensor comes ready to install. All you need to do is connect the three wires from the temperature sensor to the corresponding wires in the Boat Command harness.
Wiring Guide:
Yellow wire — connect to your Boat Command harness White/Blue control wire (PIN 17).
Red wire — connect to your Boat Command harness White/Orange control wire (PIN 9, either white/orange wire will work).
Black wire — connect to your Boat Command harness Black control wire (PIN 1).
Once it’s connected to your harness and plugged in, internal temperature will automatically appear on your Boat Command dashboard. To test, request an update from the boat, wait 30 seconds, and refresh your app or web page. It may take a few hours for it to automatically sync the first time.
TIP: If you want to position the Boat Command Temperature Sensor at a location farther away than the length of the included wires, simply use similar type wire to extend the length. It will function normally up to 20 feet away.
