Product Functions
- Customizable shortcut button on the front: One-button screen lock, go back to home screen, screenshot, open My Computer, open the calculator, switch between windows, close customized programs, minimize windows, open the Run window, call out the Task Manager, and open customized files. This button is configured to go back to the home screen by default.
- Customizable M button on the side: Select all, create, open, save, cut, copy, paste, undo, redo. This button is configured to perform the Save function by default.
- Switch button in scroll wheel form: You can switch the damping modes of the wheel with one click, alternatively. This button defaults to the average speed mode. If you click this button, the mouse switches to the extreme speed mode. If you click this button again, the mouse switches back to the average speed mode.
- Side tilt scroll wheel: Slide the scroll wheel downward to turn the page left, and slide the scroll wheel upward to turn the page right.
- DPI/Bluetooth pairing button: When you press and hold the Bluetooth pairing button for 2s, the Bluetooth icon on the OLED display will blink quickly, with an interval of 0.5s seconds. After the connection is established, the Bluetooth icon will remain on. You can switch among 5 levels of DPI in a cyclic pattern by clicking the button, including 800 (level 1), 1200 (level 2), 2000 (level 3), 3000 (level 4), and 4000 (level 5). (The cursor speed error is about 200 DPI.) The cursor defaults to 2000 DPI upon factory delivery.
- Three-position toggle switch: It has 3 modes in total, include the 2 46 cannertion mare Ruotanth rannortian mode, and shutdown mode.
- OLED display: The OLED display can display real-time DPI (When switching DPI, it displays the latest DPI), remaining battery percentage (accurate to a single-digit percentage, and the charging sign during charging, connection status (2.4G or Bluetooth connection, etc. The OLED display is off when the mouse does not work for 110 seconds. You can press the button on the mouse to wake up the OLED display.
Instructions for Use
- Installing the driver on the Windows computer
- When you use the mouse for the first time, press and hold the left and right buttons for 3 seconds simultaneously. The computer automatically opens the driver download page.
- Select the software for the Windows system to download, and complete the installation.
- Enter the configuration page on the computer. Customize the button functions and set parameters such as DPI.
Installing the driver on the Mac computer
Open the browser on the computer, and enter the official website of Baseus APP (link.baseus.cn), open the software download page, select the software for the Mac system to download. The system redirects to the APP Store. Install and open the driver software. Note: Some functions, such as shortcut button settings, require authorization permissions.
2.4G Connection
- Take out the bottom USB receiver and insert it into the USB port on the computer.
- Toggle the switch at the bottom of the mouse to 2.4G connection mode.
- Click and move the mouse until the cursor appears on the screen.
Bluetooth Connection
When you use the mouse for the first time, toggle the switch at the bottom of the mouse to switch to the Bluetooth connection mode. At this time, the Bluetooth icon blinks quickly on theThe OLED display and the mouse enter the pairing state.
- Turn on Bluetooth for pairing. Select the “Baseus Editor Pro” model. Click Connect. Once the Bluetooth icon on the OLED display is always on, it is ready for use.
- If you need to disconnect the existing connection and set up a connection with another PC device, press and hold the bottom
- DPI button for 2s. At this time, the Bluetooth icon blinks quickly on the OLED display, a nd the mouse re-enters the pairing state.
- Turn on Bluetooth for pairing. Select the “Baseus Editor Pro” model. Click Connect. Once the Bluetooth icon on the OLED display is always on, it is ready for use.
Precautions
The product contains batteries. Therefore, keep the product away from fire sources. Please do not store the product in environments with high temperatures, strong ligh, or strong magnetic fields. Please do not disassemble and repair the product without
authorization. If you encounter any problems, please contact Baseus’s after-sales customer service personnel. It is recommended to use a charger marked with “output voltage at 5 V, output current at 1 A and above” for charging. Please keep the product away from heat sources (such as heaters) while charging. If the battery is used improperly, it may cause leakage or explosion, or other hazards, resulting in personal injury or fire. Do not expose the product to moisture, high temperature, strong light, or strong magnetic fields, and avoid contact with conductive materials or liquids.
Common Issues and Troubleshooting Methods
