Autel Compressor Box Quick Reference Guide

Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the Compressor Box. When paired with an Autel diagnostic tool (purchased separately), this product can help diagnose and resolve problems with your vehicle’s compressor. Autel products are manufactured to a high standard and — when used according to these instructions and properly maintained — will provide years of trouble-free performance.

Product Description

1. Status LED — refer to Table 1-1 Status LED Description for details.
2. QD Socket — connects the adjustable strap with hook for carrying and hanging the device.
3. USB Port — connects the Maxi HVAC tablet for firmware updates or direct wired connection.
4. FVC/EVC Cable Port — connects the FVC main cable.

Getting Started

WARNING: Before operating or maintaining this device, please read these instructions carefully, paying extra attention to the safety warnings and precautions. Failure to do so may cause damage and/or personal injury and will void the product warranty.

1. After powering on the MaxiHVAC tablet, tap HVAC on the MaxiHVAC Job Menu.
2. Select Compressor Test on the Main Menu screen.
3. Select Special Tool on the Diagnosis Method Selection screen.
4. Follow the on-screen cable connection diagram to connect the equipment and then follow the prompts on the screen to perform the test. Tap Next to continue.
