FAQ

Troubleshooting

Reboot

Press and hold the Reboot button for 5 seconds.

Factory Reset Procedure

Press and hold the Factory Reset button until the Activity
Indicator flashes green (10 seconds) and then release.

Rescue Mode

No Audio

If there is no audio going through the speakers (bells, paging,
intercom) check the audio output to see if there is any audio
passing through there. This can be done by connecting a pair of
wired headphones to the audio out of the MS-775 and playing audio
through the MS-775. If you hear audio through the headphones, it is
most likely not a problem with the MS-775, and related to the
speakers or speaker wiring.

DESCRIPTION
The MS-775 Network Interface for SAFE Alert Extender is a fully integrated networked paging interface, ideal for delivering audio in small rooms. It supports network-based intercom, paging, and emergency notification, with an intuitive, easy-to-install design. Powered by Power over Ethernet+ (PoE+), it enables full-duplex SIP communication, and when connected to an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), it ensures paging remains operational during power outages or emergencies. The MS-775 can be integrated into the EPIC (Education Paging & Intercom Communications) System®, the SAFE (Signal Alert For Education) System®, or other compatible building systems. Unlike the MS-720, which focuses on standard intercom and paging functions, the MS-775 also supports non-paired alerts from the XD Teacher Microphone and XD Alert Badge, enhancing its effectiveness for emergency communication.
