2. Mowing Techniques

  • For best results, mow dry grass. Wet grass can clog the blade and grass bag.
  • Overlap cutting swaths slightly to ensure complete coverage.
  • Avoid cutting more than one-third of the grass blade length at a time. If the grass is very tall, make two passes, raising the cutting height for the first pass.
  • The mower features a brushless motor with 2800 RPM on Low and 3400 RPM on High for efficient cutting. Adjust speed as needed for grass density.

3. Stopping the Mower

To stop the mower, release the bail switch lever. The blade will stop rotating within a few seconds. Always wait for the blade to come to a complete stop before approaching the mower.

4. Emptying the Grass Bag

When the 8-gallon grass collection bag is full, stop the mower and remove the battery pack. Lift the rear discharge flap and carefully remove the grass bag. Empty the clippings and reattach the bag securely.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning the Mower

  • Always remove the battery pack before cleaning.
  • Use a brush or cloth to remove grass clippings and debris from the mower deck, wheels, and air vents.
  • Do not use water directly on the motor or electrical components.

2. Blade Care

  • Regularly inspect the blade for sharpness and damage. A dull or damaged blade can lead to poor cutting performance and strain the motor.
  • If the blade needs sharpening or replacement, consult a qualified service technician or refer to specific blade maintenance instructions. Always use genuine MZK replacement parts.

3. Battery Care and Storage

  • Store batteries in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • For long-term storage, charge batteries to approximately 50% capacity.
  • Do not store batteries in a discharged state.

4. Storage

The MZK lawn mower features a foldable design for space-saving storage. Clean the mower thoroughly, remove the battery pack, and fold the handle down. Store in a dry, secure location.
