This manual provides detailed instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your HOMVILLA Digital Alarm Clock, Model 1019. This battery-operated clock features a clear digital display, temperature reading, snooze function, and backlight, making it suitable for various environments.

Setup
1. Battery Installation
The HOMVILLA Digital Alarm Clock requires 2 x AAA batteries (not included) for operation.
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the clock.
- Slide open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert 2 new AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+ and -).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
Important: Ensure batteries are inserted correctly. Incorrect polarity can damage the device. Remove batteries if the clock will not be used for an extended period.

Operating Instructions
Familiarize yourself with the buttons on the back of the clock (refer to Figure 2 for button identification).
Button Functions:
- "MIN/DATE/°C/°F" Button: Press to set minutes, date, or toggle temperature display between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F).
- "YEAR/12/24" Button: Press to set the year or switch between 12-hour and 24-hour time formats.
- "HOUR/MONTH" Button: Press to set the hour or month.
- "SNOOZE/LIGHT/BACKLIGHT" Button (Top): Press to activate the backlight for approximately 5 seconds or to snooze an active alarm.
- "ALARM MODE" Switch (Side): Slide to "AL ON" to enable the alarm, or "AL OFF" to disable.
- "SET MODE LOCK" Switch (Side): Slide to "LOCK" to prevent accidental changes to settings. Slide to "ALARM SET", "DATE SET", or "TIME SET" to adjust respective settings.
- Photosensitive Sensor: Detects ambient light to auto-adjust display brightness (Smart Light feature).
Setting the Time and Date:
- Slide the "SET MODE LOCK" switch to "TIME SET".
- Press the "HOUR/MONTH" button to adjust the hour.
- Press the "MIN/DATE/°C/°F" button to adjust the minutes.
- To set the year, press the "YEAR/12/24" button.
- To set the month, press the "HOUR/MONTH" button.
- To set the date, press the "MIN/DATE/°C/°F" button.
- Once all settings are correct, slide the "SET MODE LOCK" switch back to "LOCK" to save.
Setting the Alarm:
- Slide the "SET MODE LOCK" switch to "ALARM SET".
- Press the "HOUR/MONTH" button to adjust the alarm hour.
- Press the "MIN/DATE/°C/°F" button to adjust the alarm minutes.
- Once the alarm time is set, slide the "SET MODE LOCK" switch back to "LOCK".
- To activate the alarm, slide the "ALARM MODE" switch to "AL ON". An alarm icon will appear on the display.
Snooze Function:
When the alarm sounds, press the large "SNOOZE/LIGHT/BACKLIGHT" button on top of the clock. The alarm will pause for a few minutes (typically 5-8 minutes) and then sound again.
Backlight and Smart Light:
- Manual Backlight: Press the "SNOOZE/LIGHT/BACKLIGHT" button on top to activate the backlight for approximately 5 seconds.
- Smart Light (Photosensitive Sensor): Slide the "SMARTLIGHT" switch on the back to "ON" to enable the photosensitive sensor. The display will automatically adjust its brightness based on ambient light conditions, providing a soft glow in dark environments. Slide to "OFF" to disable this feature.

12/24 Hour Mode and Temperature Display:
- 12/24 Hour Format: Press the "YEAR/12/24" button to toggle between 12-hour (with AM/PM indicator) and 24-hour (military time) display formats.
- Temperature Unit: Press the "MIN/DATE/°C/°F" button to switch the temperature display between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F).

Maintenance
