Setup
Battery Installation
The Rockin' Crawling Crab requires 3 AAA batteries. Demonstration batteries are included, but it is recommended to replace them for optimal performance.
- Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the crab.
- Using a Phillips head screwdriver, loosen the screw and open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert 3 new AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Replace the cover and tighten the screw securely.
Operating Instructions
Power On/Off
The toy features an on/off switch, typically located near the battery compartment. Ensure the switch is in the "ON" position to activate the toy.
Activating Movement and Music
To start the crab's movement, music, and dancing, press the button located on the top of its bright red shell.

Obstacle Avoidance
The Rockin' Crawling Crab is equipped with integrated sensors that detect obstacles. When the crab encounters an object, it will automatically change direction to continue moving, providing uninterrupted play.
Auto-Stop Sensor
For safety and convenience, the crab's legs will automatically stop moving when the toy is lifted from the surface. This feature prevents the legs from spinning freely while being held.

Cleaning Instructions

Troubleshooting
- Toy is not moving or playing music:
Ensure the on/off switch is in the "ON" position. Check the batteries and replace them if necessary, as demonstration batteries may have limited life. - Toy moves too fast:
The crab is designed to move at a stimulating pace to encourage crawling. This is normal operation. - Toy stops moving unexpectedly:
The toy has an auto-stop sensor that activates when it is lifted. Ensure the toy is placed on a flat surface. If it stops on its own, it may have encountered an obstacle and is redirecting, or the batteries may be low.
