Setup

Hot-Swapping Switches
The AK680 V3 features a full hot-swappable PCB, allowing for easy replacement of magnetic switches without soldering.

Remove Keycap: Use the keycap puller to gently remove the desired keycap.
Remove Switch: Use the switch puller to carefully grip the switch and pull it straight up.
Insert New Switch: Align the pins of the new magnetic switch with the hot-swap sockets on the PCB. Press down gently until the switch clicks into place. Ensure it is seated firmly and evenly.
Replace Keycap: Place the keycap back onto the new switch.
The keyboard is compatible with N-pole downward magnetic switches, including TTC Wanmag switches. Original switch options include POM Leiying Switch and PC Leijing Switch, both rated for 100 million keystrokes.
Troubleshooting
Keyboard Not Responding:
Ensure the USB Type-C cable is securely connected to both the keyboard and the computer.
Try connecting the keyboard to a different USB port on your computer.
Test the keyboard on another computer to rule out system-specific issues.
Perform a factory reset (Fn + Spacebar).
Keys Not Registering or Double-Typing:
This could indicate a faulty switch. Use the hot-swap feature to replace the affected switch with one of the spare switches provided.
Check the web-based settings (Fn + Esc for 5 seconds) for actuation point settings. Adjusting these might resolve the issue.
RGB Lighting Not Working or Incorrect:
Ensure the lighting is not turned off (check brightness settings with Fn + ↑/↓).
