This watch combines classic analog timekeeping with modern digital functions, including world time, multiple alarms, a stopwatch, countdown timer, and an LED backlight. This manual provides detailed instructions to help you set up and utilize all features of your new watch.

Watch Components

Familiarize yourself with the buttons and display areas of your watch:

• MODE Button: Cycles through different modes (Timekeeping, Alarm, Stopwatch, Countdown, World Time).
• LIGHT Button: Activates the LED backlight.
• START Button: Used to start/stop functions in Stopwatch/Countdown modes, and to adjust settings.
• RESET Button: Used to reset values or confirm settings.
• Analog Display: Traditional hour and minute hands.
• Digital Display: Shows time, date, day, and other digital functions.

Setup and Basic Operation

1. Setting Time and Date

1. In Timekeeping Mode, press and hold the RESET button until the seconds begin to flash. This indicates setting mode.
2. Press the MODE button to cycle through the settings: Seconds → Hour → Minute → Year → Month → Day.
3. Use the START button to increase the flashing value. Hold START to rapidly advance.
4. Once all settings are correct, press the RESET button to exit setting mode.

2. 12/24 Hour Format

In Timekeeping Mode, press the START button to toggle between 12-hour (with 'PM' indicator) and 24-hour formats.

3. Daylight Saving Time (DST)

In Timekeeping Mode, press and hold the START button to activate or deactivate DST. An indicator will appear on the digital display when DST is active.

Operating Modes

Press the MODE button to cycle through the following functions:

• Timekeeping Mode: Displays current time, date, and day.
• Alarm Mode: Set and manage up to five daily alarms.
• Stopwatch Mode: Measure elapsed time.
• Countdown Timer Mode: Set a timer for a specific duration.
• World Time Mode: View times in different time zones.

1. Alarm Mode

1. From Timekeeping Mode, press MODE once to enter Alarm Mode.
2. Press START to select Alarm 1 through Alarm 5.
3. To set an alarm, press and hold RESET until the hour flashes.
4. Use START to adjust the hour, then press MODE to move to minutes. Use START to adjust minutes.
5. Press RESET to confirm and exit alarm setting.
6. To turn an alarm ON/OFF, select the alarm and press START. An alarm icon will appear when active.
7. Snooze Function: When an alarm sounds, press LIGHT to activate snooze. The alarm will sound again after approximately 5 minutes.
8. Hourly Chime: In Alarm Mode, press MODE until the hourly chime indicator flashes. Press START to toggle ON/OFF.

2. Stopwatch Mode

1. From Timekeeping Mode, press MODE twice to enter Stopwatch Mode.
2. Press START to begin timing.
3. Press START again to pause timing.
4. Press RESET to clear the stopwatch to zero.

3. Countdown Timer Mode

1. From Timekeeping Mode, press MODE three times to enter Countdown Timer Mode.
2. To set the countdown time, press and hold RESET until the hour flashes.
3. Use START to adjust the hour, then press MODE to move to minutes. Use START to adjust minutes.
4. Press RESET to confirm the countdown time.
5. Press START to begin the countdown.
6. Press START again to pause/resume the countdown.
7. Press RESET to stop and reset the countdown.

4. World Time Mode

1. From Timekeeping Mode, press MODE four times to enter World Time Mode.
2. Press START to cycle through different world time zones.

5. LED Backlight

Press the LIGHT button at any time to illuminate the digital display for a few seconds, allowing for easy reading in low-light conditions.

Maintenance

Water Resistance (5 ATM)

Your FANMIS watch is rated 5 ATM (50 meters) water resistant. This means it is suitable for daily splashes, rain, and hand washing. It is not suitable for showering, bathing, swimming, diving, or any activities involving prolonged water immersion or high-pressure water exposure.

• DO NOT press any buttons underwater.
• Avoid exposing the watch to extreme hot or cold temperatures, as this can affect water resistance seals.
• If mist or droplets appear inside the watch surface, contact customer support immediately to prevent moisture corrosion of internal components.

Cleaning

Wipe the watch case and band regularly with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by immediate drying. Avoid using chemical cleaners or solvents.

Battery

The watch is powered by a battery. When the display becomes dim or functions become erratic, it may be time for a battery replacement. It is recommended to have the battery replaced by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and maintain water resistance.
