Maintenance

  • Cleaning: After each use, rinse the inflatable float and the motor unit with fresh water. Wipe the motor unit dry to prevent mineral buildup and corrosion.

Inspect the battery compartment and gasket regularly for any signs of water, corrosion, or damage. Ensure the gasket is clean and properly seated for a watertight seal.
  • Storage: Deflate the float, clean it thoroughly, and allow it to dry completely before folding. Store the float and motor unit in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Inspection: Periodically inspect the float for punctures, tears, or signs of wear. Inspect the motor unit for any visible damage or loose connections.

Troubleshooting

  • Float Not Moving or Lacks Power:
    • Check battery charge: Replace with fresh D-Cell batteries.
    • Battery polarity: Ensure batteries are installed with correct positive (+) and negative (-) orientation.
    • Battery compartment seal: Verify the battery compartment lid is securely closed and the screw cap is tightened to ensure a dry, proper connection.
    • Propeller obstruction: Check for any debris or obstructions around the propeller.
  • Water in Battery Compartment:
    • Immediately remove all batteries.
    • Thoroughly dry the compartment and batteries.
    • Inspect the rubber gasket and screw cap for any damage, cracks, or improper seating. Ensure the gasket is clean and forms a tight seal when reassembled.
