Introduction
The MONTECH TG3 is a high-airflow ATX mid-tower PC case designed for optimal thermal performance and component compatibility. It features a tiered interior platform for displaying items, pre-installed ARGB unibody fans, and support for back-connect motherboards. This manual provides detailed instructions for setting up, operating, and maintaining your TG3 PC case.

Setup
1. Preparing the Case
Before installing components, ensure the case is placed on a stable, flat surface. Remove the side panels by unscrewing the thumbscrews located at the rear of the case and carefully sliding the panels off.
2. Motherboard Installation
The TG3 supports ATX, Micro-ATX, and Mini-ITX motherboards, including back-connect compatible models like ASUS BTF, MSI Project Zero, and GIGABYTE Project STEALTH. Install the necessary motherboard standoffs if they are not pre-installed for your motherboard size. Carefully align your motherboard with the standoffs and I/O shield, then secure it with screws.

3. Power Supply Unit (PSU) Installation
Install your power supply unit into the designated compartment, typically at the bottom rear of the case. Ensure the PSU fan faces the correct direction for optimal airflow, usually downwards if there is a filtered vent, or upwards if drawing air from inside the case. Secure the PSU with screws from the rear of the case.
4. Graphics Card (GPU) Installation
The TG3 offers ample clearance for modern graphics cards, supporting GPUs up to 430mm in length. Remove the necessary PCIe slot covers, insert your graphics card into the PCIe slot on the motherboard, and secure it with the retention clip and screws.

5. Storage Drive Installation
Locate the drive bays or mounting points for 2.5-inch SSDs and 3.5-inch HDDs. Secure your storage devices using the provided screws or tool-less mechanisms.
6. Fan and Cooling System Installation
The TG3 comes with pre-installed ARGB unibody fans: 1 x GF360 U REV side intake fan and 1 x GF120 U rear exhaust fan. These fans are designed for simplified installation and reduced cable clutter. The case supports up to 9 fans for extensive cooling configurations. Install any additional fans or liquid cooling radiators according to their respective manuals, ensuring proper airflow direction.

Figure 6: The unibody fan design integrates multiple fans into a single frame, simplifying installation and cable management.
7. Cable Management
Utilize the cable routing channels and tie-down points behind the motherboard tray to manage cables effectively. The back-connect motherboard compatibility further aids in achieving a clean and organized build by routing most cables to the rear of the motherboard.
Operating
1. Initial Power On
After all components are installed and cables are connected, replace the side panels. Connect your monitor, keyboard, mouse, and power cable. Press the power button on the case to start your system.
2. ARGB Lighting Control
The TG3 features integrated ARGB accents and pre-installed ARGB fans. These can typically be controlled via your motherboard's ARGB software (if connected to a compatible header) or through a dedicated controller if one is included or purchased separately. Refer to your motherboard manual for specific ARGB software instructions.

3. Dedicated Showcase Space
The tiered interior platform provides a dedicated area for displaying collectibles or custom accents. Ensure any items placed here do not obstruct airflow or interfere with internal components.

Maintenance
1. Dust Filter Maintenance
The TG3 case is equipped with dust filters to prevent dust accumulation. Regularly check and clean these filters, typically located on the top, front, and bottom of the case. Gently remove the filters and clean them with compressed air or by rinsing with water (ensure they are completely dry before re-installation).
2. Exterior Cleaning
Wipe the exterior surfaces of the case with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the finish or glass panels.
3. Internal Dust Removal
Periodically, open the case and use compressed air to remove dust from internal components such as fans, heatsinks, and circuit boards. Ensure the system is powered off and unplugged before performing internal cleaning.
Troubleshooting
1. No Power
- Ensure the power cable is securely connected to both the PSU and the wall outlet.
- Verify the PSU switch is in the 'ON' position.
- Check that the front panel power button cable is correctly connected to the motherboard's front panel header.
- Confirm all internal power cables (24-pin ATX, CPU, GPU) are firmly seated.
2. Fans Not Spinning
- Check if the fan cables are properly connected to the motherboard fan headers or a fan controller.
- Ensure the fan headers are enabled in the BIOS/UEFI settings.
- If using ARGB fans, verify the ARGB controller or motherboard software is configured correctly.
3. ARGB Lighting Malfunction
- Verify that the ARGB cables from the fans and integrated accent are correctly connected to the motherboard's 3-pin 5V ARGB header or a dedicated ARGB controller.
- Ensure the ARGB software or physical controller is functioning and set to the desired lighting mode.
- Check for any loose connections or damaged cables.
