General Safety

3. Setup and Assembly
The MZK 20V 12 Inch Electric Cordless Mower requires minimal assembly. Follow these steps to prepare your mower for use.
Handle Assembly

4. Operating Instructions
Follow these steps for safe and effective operation of your MZK Electric Cordless Mower.
Starting the Mower (2-Step Easy Start)
- Insert the safety key into its slot.
- Press and hold the safety button, then pull the bail lever towards the handle. The motor will start. Release the safety button once the motor is running.

Adjusting Cutting Height
The mower features 4 adjustable cutting heights to suit various lawn conditions and preferences.
- Ensure the mower is turned off and the safety key is removed.
- Locate the height adjustment lever on the side of the mower.
- Pull the lever outwards and move it to the desired height setting. The available heights are approximately 1.30in, 1.65in, 2.05in, and 2.56in.
- Release the lever to lock it into position. Ensure all wheels are at the same height setting.

Mowing Tips
- For best results, avoid cutting more than one-third of the grass blade length at a time.
- Mow in overlapping rows to ensure even coverage.
- The 8-gallon collection bag efficiently gathers clippings, reducing the need for frequent emptying.
- The brushless motor provides efficient power and quieter operation.

5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your MZK mower.
Cleaning
- After each use, remove the battery pack and safety key.
- Clean the underside of the mower deck and the blade area with a brush or cloth to remove grass clippings and debris. Do not use water directly on electrical components.
- Wipe down the exterior of the mower with a damp cloth.
Blade Care
- Periodically inspect the blade for sharpness and damage. A dull or damaged blade can lead to poor cutting performance and strain the motor.
