- Close the lid firmly.
- Press the 'Seal' button (or 'Vac&Seal' if no vacuum is desired, and it will only seal).

For delicate items that could be crushed by full vacuum pressure, use the Pulse Vacuum function.
- Place the food in the bag and position it in the vacuum chamber as described in section 4.2.
- Close the lid firmly.
- Press and hold the 'Pulse Vacuum' button. The machine will vacuum as long as the button is held.
- Release the button when the desired vacuum level is achieved.
- Immediately press the 'Manual Seal' button to seal the bag.
5. Care and Maintenance
Proper care and maintenance will extend the lifespan of your vacuum sealer.
- Cleaning the Drip Tray: The removable drip tray collects excess liquids. After each use, especially with moist foods, remove the drip tray and wash it with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before reinserting.
- Cleaning the Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the machine with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the unit in water.
- Cleaning the Sealing Strip: Gently wipe the sealing strip with a damp cloth to remove any food residue. Ensure it is dry before storage.
- Storage: Store the vacuum sealer with the lid open after use. This prevents the silicone sealing strip from being compressed for extended periods, which can lead to a loss of elasticity and shorten its lifespan.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your vacuum sealer, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Machine does not turn on. | Not plugged in; power outlet issue. | Ensure power cord is securely plugged into a working outlet. |
| Machine vacuums but does not seal. | Sealing strip dirty or wet; bag not positioned correctly; lid not fully closed. | Clean and dry sealing strip. Reposition bag. Ensure lid is firmly closed until it clicks. |
| Machine seals but does not vacuum. | Bag not positioned correctly; vacuum chamber dirty; lid not fully closed. | Ensure bag opening is fully inside the vacuum chamber. Clean vacuum chamber. Close lid firmly. |
| Incomplete or weak vacuum. | Bag wrinkled; food too close to opening; bag material incompatible; gasket dirty/damaged. | Smooth bag opening. Leave sufficient space from food. Use proper vacuum sealer bags. Clean or inspect gasket for damage. |
| Bag melts during sealing. | Sealing time too long; bag too thin. | Use 'Normal' sealing mode or allow machine to cool between seals. Use thicker bags if necessary. |
