1. Drop-Leaf Countertop
The island features a flexible drop-leaf countertop that can be extended or folded down as needed.
- To Extend: Gently lift the drop-leaf section until it is level with the main countertop. Pull out the push-down support bar located underneath to secure it in place.
- To Fold Down: Push the support bar back into its retracted position and carefully lower the drop-leaf section.

2. Built-In Trash Can Storage
A dedicated compartment on the right side is designed to discreetly store a trash can up to 13 gallons (50 L).
- Access: Open the barn-style door on the right side to reveal the pull-out mechanism for the trash can.
- Placement: Place your 13-gallon trash can inside the designated area.
- Concealment: Close the door to keep waste out of sight, maintaining a clean kitchen aesthetic.

3. Drawers and Cabinet

- Cabinet: The central cabinet features a 5-height adjustable shelf, providing flexible storage for pots, pans, dinnerware, or small appliances like a microwave. Adjust the shelf height by repositioning the shelf pins.

- To Lock: Once the island is in the desired position, engage the brakes on the two casters by flipping their levers to the 'locked' position to prevent accidental rolling.
