5. Setup

  1. Unpack and Inspect: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Inspect for any damage. Retain the styrofoam packaging as it can be used for insulation in cooler environments.
  2. Assemble Egg Tray: Choose the appropriate egg tray (26-egg or 59-egg) based on the size of your eggs. Place the small gear onto the central post of the incubator base. Position the chosen egg tray onto the gear, ensuring it sits securely.
  3. Add Water: Locate the water injection port on the side of the incubator base. Using a clean bottle or dropper, carefully fill the water reservoir with distilled water. Avoid overfilling. The incubator features automatic humidity control, but initial water is required.
  4. Place Eggs: Gently place fertilized eggs into the egg tray with the larger end facing upwards. Allow eggs to sit for 12 hours before starting incubation. During incubation, ensure the pointed end of the fertilized egg faces towards the center of the incubator for healthy embryonic development.
  5. Connect Power: Connect the power cable to the incubator and then plug it into a suitable electrical outlet. The incubator will power on and display current readings.

6. Operation

6.1. Temperature and Humidity Control

The incubator automatically maintains stable incubation conditions. The temperature range is 60–104°F (20–39.5°C) with an accuracy of ±2°F (±1°C). If the temperature deviates, an alarm will sound.

Humidity is also automatically controlled. If the humidity level deviates by ±10% from the set point after 2 hours of operation, the humidity display will blink, and an alarm will sound. Ensure the water reservoir is adequately filled to maintain humidity.

6.2. Automatic Egg Turning

The incubator automatically turns eggs to prevent sticking and promote healthy embryo development. The turning interval can be set to 60, 90, 120, 150, or 180 minutes. Automatic egg turning will cease during days 18–21 to prepare for hatching.

6.3. Built-in LED Egg Candler

Use the integrated LED candler to check egg fertility and monitor embryo growth without opening the incubator. This helps identify and remove infertile or non-developing eggs, improving the overall hatch rate.

  • Visible Embryo: Indicates healthy development.
  • Larger Embryo: Shows continued growth.
  • Well-developed Embryo: Nearing hatching stage.

Note: Remove eggs promptly if they exhibit free-floating air bubbles, small cracks, appear unfertilized, or show signs of dead embryos to prevent affecting other eggs.

6.4. Smart Voice Guidance

The incubator features intelligent voice guidance to assist with operation. Simply say "Hello DanDan" to activate the voice assistant and issue commands for setting parameters or checking status.

7. Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning is essential to maintain hygiene and ensure optimal performance of your incubator. The incubator is designed for easy disassembly and cleaning.

  1. Disassembly: Unplug the incubator. Carefully remove the top cover and egg trays.
  2. Cleaning: Rinse the egg trays and the base with clean water. Use the provided cleaning brush to remove any debris. Wipe all surfaces gently with a clean, damp cloth.
  3. Drying: Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling or storing the incubator.

Important: Do not wash the electrical components or the main control unit in a machine or immerse them in water. Clean these parts with a dry or slightly damp cloth only.
