This manual provides detailed instructions for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your Aeitto Countertop Ice Maker, model ICM15. Please read this manual thoroughly before first use and retain it for future reference.

Safety Information

To prevent injury to persons or damage to the appliance, observe all basic safety precautions, including the following:

  • Ensure the power outlet voltage matches the appliance's requirements.

Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the ice maker and all accessories from the packaging. Remove any protective films or stickers.
  2. Placement: Place the ice maker on a flat, stable surface away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the unit.
  3. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, clean the interior of the ice maker.
    • Remove the ice basket.
    • Wipe the interior with a soft cloth and warm water.
    • Perform a self-cleaning cycle (refer to the Maintenance section for instructions).
  4. Add Water: Open the lid and fill the water reservoir with potable water up to the MAX fill line. Do not overfill.
  5. Connect Power: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions

  1. Power On: Press the 'ON/OFF' button on the control panel to turn on the ice maker. The 'POWER' indicator will illuminate.
  2. Select Ice Size: Press the 'SELECT' button to choose between 'SMALL' or 'LARGE' ice cube sizes. The corresponding indicator light will illuminate.
  3. Ice Production: The ice maker will begin its first ice-making cycle. Ice will be ready in approximately 6 minutes.
  4. Ice Collection: As ice is produced, it will drop into the ice basket.
  5. Ice Full Indicator: When the ice basket is full, the 'ICE FULL' indicator will light up, and the ice maker will automatically pause production. Remove ice from the basket to resume operation.
  6. Add Water Indicator: If the water level in the reservoir is too low, the 'ADD WATER' indicator will light up. Add more potable water to the reservoir to continue ice production.
  7. Power Off: Press the 'ON/OFF' button to turn off the ice maker when not in use.

Maintenance

Automatic Self-Cleaning Function

The ice maker features an automatic self-cleaning cycle to maintain hygiene and ice quality.

  1. Ensure the ice maker is empty of ice and water.
  2. Fill the water reservoir with potable water up to the MAX line.
  3. Press and hold the 'ON/OFF' button for 5 seconds. The 'CLEAN' indicator will illuminate, and the cleaning cycle will begin.
  4. The cleaning cycle typically lasts for 5 minutes.
  5. Once the cycle is complete, drain the water from the unit.

Descaling

Regular descaling is important, especially in areas with hard water, to prevent mineral buildup and maintain performance. Descale the unit once a month, or more frequently if you live in a hard water area.

  • Use a descaling solution suitable for ice makers, following the product's instructions.
  • Alternatively, a mixture of water and vinegar can be used.
  • Run a cleaning cycle with the descaling solution, then rinse thoroughly by running several cycles with fresh water.

General Cleaning

  • Wipe the exterior of the ice maker with a soft, damp cloth.
  • Clean the ice basket and ice scoop with warm, soapy water and rinse thoroughly.
  • Ensure all parts are dry before reassembling or storing the unit.

Troubleshooting
