3. Setup and Initial Use

Unpacking and Inspection:

  1. Carefully remove the cooler from its packaging.

Placement and Ventilation:

Place the cooler on a flat, stable surface. Ensure there is at least 6 inches (15 cm) of space around all sides of the unit for proper ventilation. Avoid placing it in direct sunlight or near heat sources.

Connecting to Power:

The cooler can be powered by both DC (12V/24V) and AC (110-240V) power sources.

  • DC Power (Car/Boat): Use the provided DC cigarette lighter power cord. Plug one end into the cooler's DC inlet and the other into your vehicle's 12V/24V power outlet.
  • AC Power (Home/RV): Use the provided AC adaptor and power cord. Connect the AC adaptor to the cooler's AC inlet, then plug the AC power cord into a standard 110-240V wall outlet.

Initial Cooling:

After connecting to power, press the power button to turn on the unit. Allow the cooler to run empty for at least 30 minutes to reach the desired temperature before loading items.

4. Operation

Control Panel Functions:

The control panel is located on the front of the cooler and includes buttons for power, temperature adjustment, and settings.

The intuitive control panel allows for temperature adjustment, mode selection (MAX/ECO), and battery protection settings.

  • Power Button (⑁): Press to turn the unit ON or OFF.
  • SET Button: Press to cycle through settings (e.g., battery protection level, MAX/ECO mode). Hold for 3 seconds to unlock the child lock.
  • Temperature Up (+) / Down (-) Buttons: Adjust the desired temperature.

Temperature Adjustment:

With the unit powered on, use the (+) and (-) buttons to set your desired temperature. The display will show the current internal temperature and the set temperature.

MAX / ECO Modes:

The cooler offers two operating modes for efficiency.

  • MAX Mode: Provides rapid cooling for quick temperature reduction. Ideal for initial cooling or when ambient temperatures are high.
  • ECO Mode: An energy-saving mode that consumes less power. Suitable for maintaining temperature once the desired level is reached.

To switch modes, press the SET button until the MAX or ECO indicator lights up, then use the (+) or (-) buttons to select the desired mode.

Battery Protection Settings:

This feature protects your vehicle's battery from excessive discharge. There are three levels: High (H), Medium (M), and Low (L).

  • H (High): Provides the highest level of battery protection, shutting off the cooler at a higher voltage. Recommended for starting batteries.
  • M (Medium): A balanced protection level.
  • L (Low): Allows the cooler to run longer before shutting off. Recommended for deep cycle batteries or when using an external power station.

To adjust the battery protection level, press the SET button until the battery indicator flashes, then use the (+) or (-) buttons to select H, M, or L.
