5. Operating Instructions

5.1 General Operation

  1. Pre-test: Always test the cleaning solution on an inconspicuous area of the carpet or upholstery for colorfastness before full application.
  2. Power On: Turn on the appliance using the power switch.
  3. Spray and Scrub: Press the trigger on the handle to spray the cleaning solution onto the surface. Move the nozzle slowly over the area, scrubbing gently to loosen dirt and stains.
  4. Vacuum: Release the spray trigger and continue to move the nozzle over the wet area to vacuum up the dirty solution. Repeat this step until most of the moisture is removed.
  5. Drying: Allow the cleaned area to air dry completely. Good ventilation will speed up the drying process.

5.2 Carpet Cleaning

For carpets, use the 9-inch main brush. Work in small sections, overlapping each pass slightly. For heavily soiled areas, you may need to pre-treat with a suitable stain remover before using the machine.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your Sinbo SCC-7609, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

  • No Power: Check if the power cord is securely plugged into a working outlet. Ensure the power switch is in the 'ON' position.
  • No Spray: Check if the clean water tank is filled and correctly seated. Ensure the spray trigger is fully pressed. The nozzle might be clogged; clean it if necessary.
  • Low Suction: Check if the dirty water tank is full and needs emptying. Ensure all hose and nozzle connections are tight. Check for blockages in the hose or nozzle.
  • Leaking: Ensure all tanks and connections are properly sealed. Do not overfill the clean water tank.
  • Poor Cleaning Results: Ensure you are using the correct cleaning solution and following the recommended dilution. Move the nozzle slower over the area to allow more contact time for cleaning and suction.

If the problem persists, please contact Sinbo customer support.
