2. Safety Information

Please read and understand all safety instructions before installing or operating the pump. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, serious injury, or property damage.

• Electrical Safety: Ensure the power supply matches the pump's voltage (DC 12V). Disconnect power before performing any installation, maintenance, or troubleshooting. All electrical connections should be secure and insulated.
• Water Safety: This pump is designed for clean water. Do not use it for flammable liquids, corrosive chemicals, or water above 60℃.
• Installation: Install the pump in a dry, well-ventilated area, protected from direct sunlight and freezing temperatures. Ensure proper ventilation to prevent overheating.
• Pressure: The pump operates under high pressure. Ensure all connections are tight and capable of withstanding the rated pressure (1.2 MPa).

5. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps for proper installation of your diaphragm pump:

1. Mounting: Securely mount the pump on a stable, flat surface using appropriate fasteners through the mounting holes on the pump base. Ensure the pump is positioned horizontally.
2. Water Inlet/Outlet Connection:
   • Identify the water outlet. The pump features a 10mm right water outlet. A marking on the pump body indicates the outlet direction.
   • Connect appropriate hoses to the inlet and outlet ports. Ensure all connections are tight and leak-free to handle the pump's operating pressure.

3. Electrical Connection: Connect the pump's power lead wires to a DC 12V power source. The power lead wires can be connected regardless of positive or negative polarity. Ensure the connection is secure and protected from moisture.

6. Operating Instructions

The FTVOGUE Intelligent Diaphragm Pump features an automatic pressure switch for convenient operation:

1. Initial Priming: Ensure the pump is filled with water or that the suction line is submerged in water to allow for self-priming. The pump has a self-priming height of 3 meters.
2. Power On: Turn on the DC 12V power switch connected to the pump. The pump will remain in standby mode if no water flow is detected.
3. Start Operation: Open the water outlet valve (e.g., a tap or nozzle). The intelligent pressure switch will detect the drop in pressure and automatically start the pump, initiating water flow.
4. Stop Operation: Close the water outlet valve. The intelligent pressure switch will detect the pressure buildup and automatically cut off power, stopping the pump. This feature conserves energy and protects the pump from continuous dry running.

7. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your pump:

• Cleanliness: Keep the pump exterior clean and free from debris.
• Connections: Periodically check all water and electrical connections for tightness and signs of wear or corrosion. Tighten as necessary.
• Filter (if applicable): If an inline filter is used on the suction side, inspect and clean it regularly to prevent clogging and maintain flow rate.
• Winterization: In freezing conditions, drain all water from the pump and hoses to prevent damage from ice expansion.
