Setup

1. Charging the Smartwatch

Before initial use, fully charge your smartwatch. The boAt Storm Call 4 features Type-C charging.

  • Connect the Type-C charging cable to the charging port on your smartwatch.
  • Connect the other end of the cable to a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
  • The watch display will indicate charging status. A full charge may take approximately 2 hours.

2. Pairing with Your Smartphone

To access all features, pair your smartwatch with the companion application on your smartphone.

  • Download and install the "boAt Crest" application from your smartphone's app store.
  • Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone.
  • Open the boAt Crest app and follow the on-screen instructions to add your device.
  • Select "Storm Call 4" from the list of available devices.
  • Confirm the pairing request on both your smartphone and smartwatch.

Operating Instructions

Display and Navigation

The smartwatch features a 1.96-inch HD display with 240x282 resolution and 500 nits peak brightness for clear visibility. Navigation is primarily done via the touchscreen and the functional crown.

  • Touchscreen: Swipe left, right, up, or down to navigate through menus and notifications. Tap to select items.
  • Functional Crown: Rotate the crown to scroll through lists, adjust settings, or change watch faces. Press the crown to return to the home screen or confirm selections.
  • Buttons: Use the side buttons for specific functions such as power on/off, screen wake, or quick access to features.

Maintenance

Water and Dust Resistance (IP68)

The boAt Storm Call 4 is IP68 rated for dust and water resistance. This means it is protected against dust ingress and can withstand immersion in water up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes. It is suitable for everyday use, including sweaty workouts and accidental spills. However, it is not recommended for swimming or diving.
