2. Connectivity Modes
The Drakon controller supports three connection modes:
- 2.4GHz Wireless (PC/Android): Insert the 2.4GHz wireless dongle into a USB port on your PC or Android device. The controller will automatically connect. This mode offers a 1000Hz polling rate.
- Bluetooth (PC/Android): Enable Bluetooth on your device. On the controller, press and hold the Bluetooth pairing button (refer to controller diagram for location) until the indicator light flashes rapidly. Select "Cosmic Byte Drakon" from your device's Bluetooth list to pair. This mode offers a 500Hz polling rate.
- Wired (PC): Connect the controller directly to your PC using the provided USB-C cable. The controller will be recognized automatically. This mode also offers a 1000Hz polling rate.
3. Software Installation (PC Only)
For advanced customization, including button remapping, joystick calibration, RGB lighting control, and macro programming, download the Cosmic Byte Orbit software from the official Cosmic Byte website. Install the software and connect your controller via 2.4GHz wireless or wired mode to access its features.

Operating Instructions
1. TMR Joysticks and Mechanical Buttons
The controller features TMR (Tunnel Magnetoresistance) joysticks for precise, drift-free input and mechanical switches for the ABXY face buttons and triggers, providing tactile feedback and fast response times.

2. Trigger Lock System
Adjust the trigger sensitivity with the 3-stage trigger lock system located on the underside of the controller. This allows you to switch between:
- Short (Digital Click): Ideal for FPS games requiring rapid, short presses.
- Medium (Hybrid Control): A balanced setting for various game genres.
- Full (Analog Precision): Provides full range of motion for racing or flight simulators.

3. Programmable Macro Buttons (ML/MR)
The two rear macro buttons (ML/MR) can be programmed to execute complex sequences of up to 22 inputs, including delays. Use the Cosmic Byte Orbit software to assign macros for advanced gameplay strategies.

4. Turbo Mode
Activate Turbo mode on key buttons (A/B/X/Y/LB/RB/LT/RT) with adjustable firing speeds:
- Slow: 5 presses per second
- Medium: 15 presses per second
- Fast: 25 presses per second
Refer to the software manual for specific instructions on enabling and adjusting Turbo mode.
5. Dynamic RGB Lighting
Customize the controller's RGB lighting with multiple modes (Rainbow, Breathing, Gradient, Fixed Colors) and adjust brightness or turn it off using the Cosmic Byte Orbit software.
6. Modular Design
Personalize your controller with interchangeable magnetic top covers, D-pads (Precision & Disc), and replaceable joystick caps. These components can be easily swapped for comfort and style.

7. 6-Axis Gyroscope
The built-in 6-axis gyroscope delivers ultra-precise motion control for compatible games. Calibration and sensitivity adjustments can be made via the Cosmic Byte Orbit software.
8. Dual Vibration
Experience immersive feedback with dual vibration motors. Vibration intensity can be adjusted through the Cosmic Byte Orbit software.
9. 3.5mm Audio Jack (PC Mode)
Connect your headset directly to the controller's 3.5mm audio jack for audio output and microphone input. This feature is supported on PC when connected via 2.4GHz wireless or wired mode.

Maintenance
1. Cleaning
Wipe the controller with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by immediate drying. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
2. Battery Care
To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the controller frequently. Store the controller in a cool, dry place when not in use. If storing for extended periods, charge the battery to approximately 50%.
Troubleshooting
- Controller not connecting: Ensure the controller is charged. For 2.4GHz, verify the dongle is properly inserted. For Bluetooth, ensure the controller is in pairing mode and your device's Bluetooth is enabled. For wired, check the USB-C cable connection.
- Joystick drift: The TMR joysticks are designed to minimize drift. If you experience drift, use the joystick calibration feature in the Cosmic Byte Orbit software.
- RGB lighting issues: Ensure the controller firmware is updated and the Cosmic Byte Orbit software is correctly installed. Check lighting settings within the software.
- Poor audio quality from 3.5mm jack: Some users have reported that the audio output quality through the 3.5mm jack may not be optimal. If high-fidelity audio is critical, consider connecting your headset directly to your PC.
- Macro buttons not working: Verify that macros are correctly programmed and assigned using the Cosmic Byte Orbit software.
- Controller not recognized by PC software: Ensure the controller is connected via 2.4GHz wireless or wired mode. Update the controller firmware if prompted by the software. A pinhole reset switch (located near the macro keys) can be used to reset the controller if issues persist after firmware updates.
