4. Installation Instructions (Setup)

Follow these steps carefully to install your VIANIS outdoor wall light. If you are not familiar with electrical wiring, consult a qualified electrician.

1. Prepare for Installation:
   • Turn off power at the circuit breaker or fuse box to the outlet box where the fixture will be installed.
   • Ensure the power is completely off before proceeding.
   • Gather necessary tools: screwdriver, wire strippers, electrical tape, safety glasses.
2. Mount the Fixture:
   • Attach the mounting bracket to the junction box using the provided screws. Ensure the bracket is secure.
   • Carefully pull the electrical wires from the junction box through the center hole of the mounting bracket.
3. Wire Connections:
   • Connect the ground wire (bare copper or green) from the fixture to the ground wire from the junction box using a wire nut.
   • Connect the white wire (neutral) from the fixture to the white wire from the junction box using a wire nut.
   • Connect the black wire (hot) from the fixture to the black wire from the junction box using a wire nut.
   • Ensure all wire connections are secure and insulated with electrical tape if necessary.
   • Carefully tuck all wires into the junction box.
4. Secure the Fixture:
   • Align the fixture with the mounting bracket and secure it using the provided screws.
   • Ensure the fixture is flush against the wall and sealed to prevent water entry.
5. Install Bulb:
   • Screw an E26 base bulb (max 100W, not included) into the socket.
6. Activate GFCI Outlets:

   • Locate the GFCI outlets on the fixture. Press the "TEST" button, then press the "RESET" button to activate the outlets. This restores factory protection.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Dusk-to-Dawn Sensor

The VIANIS outdoor wall light is equipped with an integrated photocell sensor that detects ambient light levels. This sensor automatically controls the light fixture:

• The light will automatically turn ON when it gets dark (dusk).
• The light will automatically turn OFF when it gets bright (dawn).

No manual switching or programming is required for this feature. Ensure the sensor is not obstructed by objects or direct artificial light sources, as this may interfere with its operation.

5.2 Using the GFCI Outlets

The two integrated GFCI outlets provide convenient power for outdoor devices. They are protected by a magnetic metal cover.

• To use, gently open the magnetic cover to expose the outlets.
• Plug in your outdoor tools, holiday lights, or other compatible devices.
• Ensure the total wattage of connected devices does not exceed 1080W (15AWG).
• When not in use, close the magnetic cover to protect the outlets from weather elements.
• Regularly test the GFCI outlets by pressing the "TEST" button, then "RESET" to ensure proper function.

5.3 Bulb Replacement

The fixture features an open-bottom design for easy bulb replacement.

• Ensure power to the fixture is OFF at the circuit breaker before replacing the bulb.
• Allow the old bulb to cool completely before touching it.
• Unscrew the old E26 base bulb.
• Screw in a new E26 base bulb (maximum 100W).
• Restore power at the circuit breaker.
