3. Assembly Instructions

Your AZHAR G26 Electric Bike comes partially assembled. Follow these steps carefully to complete the assembly. It is recommended to have a second person assist during certain steps.

Step 3.1: Unpacking and Initial Inspection

  1. Carefully remove the bike and all components from the packaging.
  2. Remove all protective packaging materials and zip ties.
  3. Inspect the bike for any visible damage that may have occurred during shipping.

Step 3.2: Handlebar Installation

  1. Loosen the stem clamp bolts on the front fork.
  2. Insert the handlebar stem into the fork tube, ensuring it is aligned straight with the front wheel.
  3. Tighten the stem clamp bolts securely.
  4. Adjust the handlebar angle for comfortable riding and tighten the handlebar clamp bolts.

Step 3.3: Front Wheel Installation

If the front wheel is not pre-installed:

  1. Align the front wheel with the fork dropouts. Ensure the brake rotor slides correctly into the brake caliper.
  2. Insert the quick-release skewer or axle through the wheel hub and fork dropouts.
  3. Tighten the quick-release lever or axle nuts securely.
  4. Spin the wheel to ensure it rotates freely without rubbing the brake pads. Adjust the brake caliper if necessary.

Step 3.4: Pedal Installation

Note that pedals are side-specific. The left pedal (L) threads counter-clockwise, and the right pedal (R) threads clockwise.

  1. Identify the 'L' and 'R' markings on the pedals.
  2. Apply a small amount of grease to the pedal threads.
  3. Carefully thread the 'L' pedal into the left crank arm (counter-clockwise) and the 'R' pedal into the right crank arm (clockwise).
  4. Tighten both pedals firmly with a wrench.

Step 3.5: Seat Post and Saddle Adjustment

  1. Insert the seat post into the seat tube.
  2. Adjust the saddle height to a comfortable riding position (your feet should touch the ground when seated, or your leg should be slightly bent at the knee when the pedal is at its lowest point).
  3. Secure the seat post with the quick-release lever or bolt. Ensure the minimum insertion mark on the seat post is not visible.

Step 3.6: Fender Installation

Attach the front and rear fenders using the provided hardware. Ensure they are securely fastened and do not rub against the tires.

Step 3.7: Battery Installation and Charging

The 48V 10Ah lithium battery provides up to 45 miles of pedal-assisted range. Initial charging takes approximately 4-5 hours.

  1. Insert the battery into its designated compartment on the bike frame.
  2. Lock the battery in place using the provided key.
  3. Before first use, fully charge the battery. Connect the charger to the battery charging port, then plug it into a standard wall outlet. The indicator light on the charger will change when fully charged.
  4. Always charge the battery in a well-ventilated area, away from flammable materials.

Step 3.8: Pre-Ride Safety Check

  • Brakes: Squeeze both brake levers to ensure they engage firmly and stop the wheels effectively.
  • Tires: Check tire pressure. The 14" / 20" / 26" tires with a 2.13" width should be inflated to the recommended PSI found on the tire sidewall.
  • Quick Releases: Ensure all quick-release levers (wheels, seat post) are securely closed.
  • Handlebars & Seat: Confirm handlebars and seat are tight and do not twist or slip.
  • Lights: Test the LED headlight and brake light.
  • Battery: Verify the battery is fully charged and securely locked.

4. Operating Instructions

Understanding how to operate your AZHAR G26 Electric Bike will ensure a safe and enjoyable riding experience.

4.1: Powering On/Off

  • To power on the e-bike, press and hold the power button on the display panel. The display will illuminate.
  • To power off, press and hold the power button again until the display turns off.

4.2: Riding Modes: Pedal Assist and Throttle

Your e-bike offers multiple riding modes:

  • Pedal Assist (PAS): This mode provides motor assistance as you pedal. You can typically adjust the level of assistance (e.g., 1-5) using the '+' and '-' buttons on the control panel. Higher levels provide more power.
  • Throttle: The throttle allows you to engage the motor without pedaling, similar to a scooter. Twist the throttle grip to accelerate. Always start pedaling before engaging the throttle for smoother acceleration and better control.
  • Pedal Only: You can ride the bike like a traditional bicycle without any motor assistance by keeping the power off or setting the pedal assist level to zero.

4.3: Gear Shifting

Your AZHAR G26 is equipped with a 7-speed derailleur system. Use the shifter on the handlebar to change gears. Shift to a lower gear for easier pedaling on inclines and a higher gear for faster speeds on flat terrain. Always pedal lightly when shifting gears for smooth transitions.

4.4: Display Functions

The digital display provides important riding information:

  • Speed: Current riding speed.
  • Battery Level: Indicates remaining battery charge.
  • Pedal Assist Level: Shows the current level of motor assistance.
  • Odometer: Total distance traveled.
  • Trip Distance: Distance traveled during the current ride.
  • Cruise Control: Refer to the display's specific instructions for activating and deactivating cruise control.

4.5: Folding Mechanism

The AZHAR G26 features a quick-fold design for easy storage and transport.

  1. Ensure the bike is powered off.
  2. Locate the folding latch on the main frame.
  3. Follow the specific instructions for your model to disengage the latch and fold the frame.
  4. Fold the handlebars down if applicable.
  5. Ensure all folding mechanisms are securely locked before riding again.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your AZHAR G26 Electric Bike.

5.1: General Cleaning

  • Wipe down the frame with a damp cloth after each ride. Avoid using high-pressure washers directly on electrical components.
  • Clean the chain regularly and apply bicycle-specific lubricant to prevent rust and ensure smooth operation.

5.2: Brake System Check

  • Regularly inspect the disc brake pads for wear. Replace them when they are thin.
  • Check brake cables for fraying or stretching. Adjust cable tension as needed to ensure responsive braking.
  • Ensure brake levers are firm and do not pull all the way to the handlebar.

5.3: Tire Care

  • Maintain correct tire pressure as indicated on the tire sidewall. Under-inflated tires can reduce range and increase puncture risk.
  • Inspect tires for cuts, punctures, or excessive wear. Replace damaged tires promptly.

5.4: Battery Maintenance

  • Charge the battery regularly, even if the bike is not in use, to maintain its health. Avoid fully discharging the battery.
  • Store the battery in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • If storing for an extended period, charge the battery to 50-70% capacity and check it every few months.

5.5: Shock Absorption System

The front suspension and multiple shock absorbers contribute to a comfortable ride. Periodically check for any leaks or damage to the suspension components. Keep them clean from dirt and debris.
