6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your air conditioner.

6.1 Filter Cleaning

The unit is equipped with a high-density washable mesh filter. Clean the filter regularly (every two weeks or as needed) to maintain air quality and cooling efficiency.

  1. Unplug the air conditioner from the power outlet.
  2. Remove the filter from its housing.
  3. Wash the filter with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.
  4. Allow the filter to air dry completely before reinserting it into the unit. Do not use a dryer or direct heat.

6.2 Draining

The self-evaporating system typically handles condensation. However, if the unit displays a "Full Water" indicator or if operating in high humidity, manual draining may be required.

  1. Turn off the unit and unplug it.
  2. Place a shallow pan or bucket under the drain outlet at the bottom rear of the unit.
  3. Remove the drain plug to allow water to flow out.
  4. Once drained, replace the drain plug securely.

6.3 Storage

If storing the unit for an extended period:

  1. Ensure all water is drained from the unit.
  2. Clean the air filter.
  3. Store the unit in an upright position in a cool, dry place.
