Assembly Instructions

Follow these steps for a smooth assembly process. Two people are recommended for easier setup.

Unpack the Box: Carefully open the packaging and remove all components. Ensure all parts are accounted for according to the package contents list.
Install the Metal Frame: Assemble the main metal frame structure. The parts are clearly labeled for easy identification. Utilize the snap-in metal slats for quick and secure connection. All necessary tools, including a hex key, are provided.
Expand Upholstered Panels: The upholstered headboard and side panels may be vacuum-packed. Allow them to expand to their full shape. Initial rebound is typically over 80% after unpacking, with full rebound within 72 hours.
Attach Upholstered Components: Secure the upholstered headboard, side rails, and footboard to the metal frame. Ensure all connections are firm.

Usage and Care

Mattress Compatibility

This platform bed frame accommodates mattresses with a thickness between 8 and 18 inches. A box spring is not required.

Cleaning and Maintenance

To clean the upholstered surfaces, wipe with a dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.

The bed frame features 4 inches of under-bed clearance, allowing for easy access for robot vacuums or manual cleaning.

Troubleshooting

Noise/Squeaking: If the bed frame produces noise, ensure all bolts and connections are securely tightened. The metal frame is designed with full-cover metal joints to minimize noise.
Fabric Tearing during Headboard Installation: When installing the upholstered headboard cover, exercise caution. The backing material can be thin. If tearing occurs in non-visible areas, it typically does not affect the structural integrity or appearance once fully assembled.
Upholstery Not Fully Expanded: If upholstered panels appear compressed, allow up to 72 hours for full expansion after unpacking. Gentle manipulation may assist the process.
Mattress Slippage: The headboard is designed to sit flush against the mattress to prevent gaps and slippage. Ensure the mattress is properly positioned against the headboard.
