1. Introduction

2. Safety Information

4. Assembly Instructions

Follow these steps to assemble your aerator. It is recommended to have a second person assist with assembly.

1. Attach Wheels: Secure the 10-inch pneumatic tires to the main aerator frame using the provided axles, washers, and cotter pins. Ensure wheels spin freely.
2. Install Spike Wheel Sets: Mount the six spike wheel sets onto the rotating axle of the aerator frame. Ensure the coring plugs are oriented correctly for soil penetration.
3. Assemble Universal Hitch: Attach the universal hitch assembly to the front of the aerator frame using the specified bolts and nuts. Ensure it is securely fastened.
4. Install Lift Handle: Connect the lift handle kit to the aerator frame. This handle allows for easy transition between transport and work modes.
5. Final Inspection: Double-check all bolts, nuts, and pins for tightness. Ensure all moving parts operate without obstruction.

5. Setup for Operation

1. Attach to Tow Vehicle: Connect the universal hitch to your ATV, UTV, or lawn tractor. Align the hitch, insert the pin, and secure it.
2. Add Weight (Optional): For deeper soil penetration, place additional weight (e.g., concrete blocks, sandbags) onto the integrated weight tray. The tray supports up to 120 lbs.

6. Operating Instructions

1. Prepare the Lawn: For best results, aerate when the soil is moist but not waterlogged. Avoid aerating extremely dry or hard soil.
2. Engage Aeration Mode: Use the lift handle to lower the coring plugs into the working position.
3. Begin Aerating: Drive your tow vehicle at a slow, consistent speed across the lawn. The 40-inch working width ensures efficient coverage. Overlap passes slightly to avoid missed areas.
4. Monitor Penetration: Observe the depth of the coring plugs. If penetration is insufficient, add more weight to the tray. The aerator is designed for up to 3 inches of penetration.
5. Transport Mode: When moving the aerator over paved surfaces or between work areas, use the lift handle to raise the coring plugs to the transport position. This prevents damage to the tines and surfaces.

7. Maintenance
