1. Important Safety Instructions

3. Installation and Setup

3.1 Unpacking

Carefully remove all packaging materials, including the polystyrene base and any transit bolts from the rear of the machine. Keep the transit bolts for future transportation of the appliance.

3.2 Location Requirements

Place the washing machine on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is adequate space around the machine for ventilation and maintenance. Avoid direct sunlight or extreme temperatures.

3.3 Leveling the Appliance

Adjust the adjustable feet at the bottom of the machine to ensure it is perfectly level and stable. A level machine reduces vibration and noise during operation.

3.4 Water Supply Connection

Connect the supplied fill hose to the cold water tap and the corresponding inlet on the back of the washing machine. Ensure all connections are tight to prevent leaks.

3.5 Drain Hose Connection

Securely place the drain hose into a standpipe or over the edge of a sink, ensuring it is at the correct height (between 60 cm and 100 cm from the floor) and not kinked or blocked.

3.6 Electrical Connection

Plug the power cord into a grounded 230V, 50Hz electrical outlet. Do not share the outlet with other high-power appliances.

4. Operating Your Washing Machine

4.1 Control Panel Overview

The control panel features a program selection dial, an LED display, and various function buttons for customizing your wash cycle.

4.2 Before First Use

Run an empty wash cycle with a small amount of detergent to clean the drum and remove any manufacturing residues.

4.3 Loading Laundry

Open the door and load laundry into the drum. Do not exceed the 9 kg capacity. For best results, mix large and small items to ensure a balanced load.

4.4 Adding Detergent and Additives

Pull out the detergent dispenser drawer. Add appropriate amounts of detergent and any desired additives (e.g., fabric softener) to their respective compartments. Use only detergents suitable for front-load washing machines.

4.5 Selecting a Wash Program

Turn the program selection dial to choose one of the 15 available wash programs:

  • Cotton: For cotton items.
  • Synthetic: For synthetic fabrics.
  • Mix: For mixed loads of cotton and synthetics.
  • Cold Wash: For delicate items requiring cold water.
  • Sportswear: For sports apparel.
  • Baby Care: For baby clothes, ensuring thorough rinsing.
  • Jeans: Specific program for denim.
  • Rinse&Spin: For rinsing and spinning items.
  • Spin Only: For draining and spinning excess water.
  • Bulky: For large or heavy items like blankets.
  • Wool: For wool garments.
  • Gentle Care: For very delicate items.
  • Cotton Eco: Energy-efficient cotton wash.
  • Quick 15: A rapid 15-minute wash for lightly soiled items.
  • Rapid 45: A 45-minute quick wash cycle.

4.6 Starting a Wash Cycle

After selecting the program and any desired options (temperature, spin speed), press the Start/Pause button to begin the cycle.

4.7 Delay Function

The Delay Function allows you to set a time for the wash cycle to start automatically later. Press the 'Delay' button repeatedly to select the desired delay time.

4.8 Child Lock

To activate the Child Lock, press and hold the designated buttons (refer to your control panel for specific buttons, often 'Temp' and 'Func.' or similar) for a few seconds until the child lock indicator appears. This disables all buttons to prevent accidental changes during operation.

5.2 Inverter Motor and High Spin Speed

The 15-Minute Quick Wash program is ideal for lightly soiled clothes or when you need a fast refresh. It provides efficient cleaning in a short cycle time.

6. Care and Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your washing machine.

6.1 Cleaning the Drum

Utilize the built-in Self Clean Drum Technology program periodically to remove detergent residues and bacteria from the drum, maintaining hygiene.

6.2 Cleaning the Detergent Dispenser

Remove the detergent dispenser drawer and rinse it under running water to clear any accumulated detergent or softener residue. Clean the housing of the drawer with a brush.

6.3 Cleaning the Drain Filter

Locate the drain pump filter (usually at the bottom front of the machine). Open the cover, drain any residual water, and carefully remove and clean the filter of lint and foreign objects. Reinstall securely.

6.4 Cleaning the Exterior

Wipe the exterior surfaces of the washing machine with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish.
