Important Safety Instructions

Setup

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove the electric over-blanket from its packaging. Retain packaging for storage if desired.
  2. Inspect: Before first use, inspect the blanket, power cord, and control unit for any signs of damage. Do not use if any damage is observed.
  3. Connect Controller: Locate the connector on the blanket and the corresponding plug on the control unit. Ensure they are aligned correctly and push firmly until the connection is secure.
  4. Position Blanket: Place the electric over-blanket on your bed or desired surface. Ensure it lies flat and is not folded, rucked, or creased. Do not cover the control unit with the blanket or other materials.
  5. Plug In: Insert the power plug into a suitable electrical outlet. Ensure the outlet voltage matches the specifications of the blanket (220-240V).

Operating Instructions

Control Unit Overview:

The control unit features a display, a power button, heat setting buttons, and timer setting buttons.

Turning On/Off:

  • To turn on, press the Power button. The display will illuminate, and the blanket will start heating at a default setting.
  • To turn off, press the Power button again. The display will turn off, and the blanket will cease heating.

Adjusting Heat Settings:

  • With the blanket on, press the Heat Setting button (often marked with a temperature or up/down arrows) to cycle through the 9 available heat levels.
  • The current heat level will be displayed on the control unit.
  • Start with a lower setting and adjust upwards to find your preferred comfort level.

Setting the Timer:

  • With the blanket on, press the Timer Setting button (often marked with a clock icon or up/down arrows) to select the desired operating duration.
  • You can choose from 1 to 9 hours. The selected time will be displayed.
  • The blanket will automatically turn off once the set time has elapsed.

Overheating Protection:

The blanket is equipped with an advanced overheating protection system. In the event of overheating, the blanket will automatically shut off to prevent damage or injury. If this occurs, unplug the blanket, allow it to cool down, and inspect for any visible damage before attempting to use it again. If the issue persists, contact customer support.

Maintenance and Care

Cleaning Instructions:

  1. Disconnect Power: Always unplug the blanket from the wall outlet before cleaning.
  2. Detach Control Unit: Carefully disconnect the control unit from the blanket by pressing the release tab (if present) and pulling the connector apart. Ensure the connector is completely dry before reattaching.
  3. Machine Wash: The blanket is machine washable. Use a gentle cycle with cold water (maximum 30°C) and a mild detergent. Do not bleach.
  4. Rinse: Rinse thoroughly to remove all detergent residue.
  5. Tumble Dry: Tumble dry on a low heat setting or line dry. Ensure the blanket is completely dry before reconnecting the control unit and plugging it back in. Do not iron.
  6. Spot Cleaning: For minor spills, spot clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent.

Storage:

When not in use, store the blanket in a cool, dry place. Avoid folding it tightly or placing heavy objects on top, which could damage the internal heating elements.

Troubleshooting
