5.2 Display Modes (Extended vs. Mirrored)
The KVM switch supports two primary display modes, provided your connected computers and graphics cards support multi-screen output:
- Extended Mode: Each of the three monitors displays a different part of your desktop, extending your workspace. This mode requires your PC to output three distinct video signals.
- Mirror Mode (Copy Mode): All three monitors display the same content, mirroring your desktop across all screens. This mode requires your PC to duplicate the video signal across three outputs.

7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your KVM switch, please refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:
- No Display/Incorrect Resolution:
- Verify all HDMI and DisplayPort cables are securely connected to both the KVM switch and your monitors/computers.
- Ensure your computer's graphics card supports the required number of DisplayPort and HDMI outputs (2 DP + 1 HDMI per PC).
- Check your display settings on your computer to ensure the correct resolution and display mode (extended/mirrored) are selected.
- Confirm that your monitors and cables support the desired resolution (e.g., 8K@60Hz or 4K@120Hz).
- USB Devices Not Working:
- Ensure the USB 3.0 A-A cables are properly connected from each PC to the KVM switch.
- Verify that the 12V power adapter is connected to the KVM switch and a power outlet, especially for high-power USB devices.
- Try connecting the USB device directly to the computer to confirm it is functional.
- Restart the KVM switch and the connected computers.
- Cannot Switch Between PCs:
- Ensure the KVM switch is powered on.
- Check if the desktop controller is securely plugged into the "Control" port.
- Try using the front panel "Select" button if the desktop controller is not responding.
- General Issues:
- Power cycle the KVM switch (turn off, unplug, wait 10 seconds, plug back in, turn on).
- Ensure all cables are of good quality and not damaged.
