1. Safety Information
Please read all instructions carefully before assembly and use. Keep this manual for future reference.
- Ensure the greenhouse is assembled on a level and stable surface.
- Always work with at least two people during assembly to prevent injury and ensure proper alignment.
- Wear appropriate safety gear, including gloves, during assembly.
- Securely anchor the greenhouse to the ground to prevent wind damage.
- Do not exceed the maximum snow load capacity of 440 lbs. Clear heavy snow accumulation promptly.
- Keep children and pets away from the assembly area.
2. Setup and Assembly
The Jocisland Wooden Greenhouse features a sub-module design with pre-assembled components for quicker setup. Two people are recommended for assembly.
2.1 Unpacking and Inspection
- Carefully unpack all boxes and verify that all parts are present according to the packing list.
- Inspect all wooden components and polycarbonate panels for any damage. Contact customer support immediately if any parts are damaged or missing.
2.2 Assembly Steps
- Base Preparation: Ensure your chosen site is level and clear of debris. A solid foundation is crucial for stability.
- Wall Assembly: The wall panels come pre-assembled. Connect them using the provided hardware. Wooden pins are included to prevent misalignment during this stage.
- Door Installation: Attach the pre-assembled door frame and door panel. Ensure the door opens and closes smoothly and the locks function correctly.
- Roof Assembly: Assemble the roof panels. It is recommended to apply glass glue or sealant to the gaps between the boards and panels to prevent water leakage before securing the roof structure.
- Ventilation Window: Install the adjustable roof vent.
- Reinforcement: Utilize the L-shaped iron pieces and explosion screws for enhanced stability, particularly at the base and critical joints.
- Final Checks: Double-check all connections and ensure all screws are tightened.

4. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your greenhouse.
- Cleaning: Periodically clean the polycarbonate panels with mild soap and water to ensure maximum light transmission. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Wood Care: The cedar frame is lacquered and corrosion-resistant. However, occasional inspection for wear and tear, and reapplication of a wood sealant if necessary, can extend its life.
- Sealing: Regularly check the seals between panels and apply glass glue or silicone sealant as needed to prevent water leakage.
- Hardware: Inspect all screws and hardware periodically and tighten if loose.
- Snow Removal: During heavy snowfall, gently remove snow from the roof to prevent exceeding the snow load capacity.

5. Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter.
- Difficulty with Panel Alignment: If panels appear slightly warped or misaligned, use clamps during assembly to hold them in place while securing screws. Ensure wooden pins are correctly inserted.
- Screwing in Tight Spots: A flexible screw attachment for your power screwdriver can be helpful for reaching screw holes located close to panels or in confined spaces.
- Roof Vent Closing Unexpectedly: If the roof vent is easily pushed down by wind, consider adding a small latch or mechanism to secure it in the open position more firmly.
- Water Leakage: Ensure all gaps between panels, especially on the roof, are properly sealed with glass glue or silicone sealant. Verify that the plastic flap over the window is completely on the outside and windows are straight.
- Roof Stability Concerns (Heavy Snow): For areas with very heavy or wet snow, consider adding additional internal supports or braces to the ridge beam for enhanced structural integrity beyond the standard design.
