Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the ice maker from its packaging. Ensure all packing materials, including any internal protective inserts, are removed.
- Placement: Place the ice maker on a stable, level surface away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the unit. The compact design (11.9"D x 7.3"W x 10.8"H) allows for placement on small counters, office desks, or bar carts.
- Initial Cleaning: Before first use, clean the interior of the ice maker. Refer to the "Maintenance" section for detailed cleaning instructions.
- Allow to Settle: After transportation, allow the ice maker to stand upright for at least 2 hours (or 24 hours as a general recommendation for refrigeration appliances) before plugging it in. This allows the refrigerant to settle.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.

Maintenance
Automatic Self-Cleaning Function
The ice maker features an automatic self-cleaning function to help maintain hygiene and ice quality. It is recommended to use this function regularly, especially if you notice any mineral buildup or changes in ice taste.
- Ensure the water reservoir is filled with clean water.
- Press and hold the "ON/OFF" button for 5 seconds. The "CLEAN" indicator light will illuminate, and the machine will begin a 15-minute cleaning cycle.
- Once the cleaning cycle is complete, drain the water from the reservoir.

Descaling
Hard water can lead to mineral buildup (limescale) inside the ice maker, affecting its performance and the taste of the ice. Descaling is recommended monthly in moderately hard water areas, or every two to three weeks in hard to very hard water areas.
To descale, use a mixture of water and vinegar or a commercial descaling solution designed for ice makers. Follow the instructions provided with the descaling solution or use a 1:1 ratio of white vinegar to water. Run the self-cleaning cycle with the descaling solution, then rinse thoroughly by running several cycles with clean water.

General Cleaning
- Always unplug the ice maker before cleaning.
- Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth.
- Remove the ice basket and wash it with mild soap and warm water. Rinse thoroughly.
- Clean the interior water reservoir and ice-making components with a soft cloth and a mild, non-abrasive cleaner. Rinse thoroughly to remove any cleaning solution residue.
- Ensure all parts are dry before reassembling and using the machine.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Ice maker not turning on | No power supply | Check if the power cord is securely plugged into a working outlet. |
| "ADD WATER" indicator light is on | Water reservoir is empty or low | Fill the water reservoir with potable water up to the maximum fill line. |
| "ICE FULL" indicator light is on | Ice basket is full | Remove ice from the basket to resume ice production. |
| Ice production is slow or ice cubes are small/misshapen | Ambient temperature too high; water temperature too high; mineral buildup | Ensure the ice maker is in a cool environment. Use cold water. Perform a descaling cycle. |
| Unusual noise during operation | Normal operation sounds (compressor, water pump); loose parts | Some operational noises are normal. If the noise is excessive or unusual, contact customer support. |
