Maintenance

Cleaning

To clean your flashlight, wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these may damage the finish or internal components. Ensure the lens is clean for optimal light output.

Battery Replacement

Replace all 6 AA batteries simultaneously with new, high-quality alkaline batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries or different battery types. Remove batteries if the flashlight will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.

Storage

Store the flashlight in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If storing for long periods, remove the batteries.

Troubleshooting

  • Flashlight does not turn on:
    • Ensure batteries are inserted correctly with proper polarity.
    • Check if the tail cap is securely tightened. A loose tail cap can prevent electrical contact.
    • Replace old or depleted batteries with new ones.
  • Light output is dim or flickers:
    • Batteries may be low; replace them.
    • Clean battery contacts and terminals with a clean eraser or cotton swab.
    • Ensure the lens is clean and free from obstructions.
  • Water ingress:
    • While the flashlight is IPX4 water-resistant (splash-proof), it is not designed for submersion. If water enters the unit, remove batteries immediately and allow all components to dry thoroughly before reassembly.
