Front Camera Unit

5. Setup & Installation

Follow these steps for proper installation of your dash cam:

1. Prepare the MicroSD Card: Insert a high-speed Class 10 or higher MicroSD card (up to 256GB, not included) into the dash cam's MicroSD card slot. Format the card in the dash cam's settings menu before first use.
2. Mount the Front Camera: Attach the suction cup mount to the front camera. Clean your windshield thoroughly. Press the suction cup firmly onto the windshield, preferably behind the rearview mirror, ensuring it does not obstruct your view. Adjust the camera angle to capture the road ahead clearly.
3. Install the Rear Camera: Mount the rear camera on the rear windshield using the adhesive mount. Route the rear camera cable neatly along the vehicle's headliner and pillars to the front camera unit. Connect the rear camera cable to the designated input port on the front camera.
4. Connect Power: Plug the car charger into your vehicle's cigar lighter socket. Connect the other end of the power cable to the USB power port on the front dash cam. Route the cable neatly to avoid interference with driving controls.
5. Power On: Start your vehicle. The dash cam should automatically power on and begin recording. If not, press the Power button.

6. Operating Instructions

Basic Operation

• Power On/Off: The dash cam automatically powers on/off with your vehicle's ignition. You can also manually press and hold the Power button.
• Recording: Once powered on, the dash cam automatically starts loop recording. A red indicator light or icon on the screen typically confirms recording is active.
• Menu Navigation: Press the Menu button to enter the settings menu. Use the Up/Down buttons to navigate through options and the OK button to select.
• Playback: In standby mode (not recording), press the Mode button (if available, or navigate via Menu) to switch to playback mode. Use Up/Down to select videos and OK to play.

Loop Recording

The dash cam records video in continuous loops (e.g., 1, 3, or 5-minute segments). When the memory card is full, the oldest unlocked files are automatically overwritten to make space for new recordings. This ensures continuous monitoring without manual intervention.

G-Sensor (Gravity Sensor)

The built-in G-Sensor detects sudden impacts or collisions. When triggered, it automatically locks the current video segment, preventing it from being overwritten by loop recording. These locked files are stored in a separate folder on the MicroSD card.
