2. Compatibility
The eufyCam C37 is compatible with eufy HomeBase Mini and HomeBase 3. It is not compatible with HomeBase 2 or Apple HomeKit. Ensure your HomeBase 3 is running V3.7.8.4+ or HomeBase Mini is running V4.0.5.6+ for proper connection.
3. Installation
The eufyCam C37 is designed for wall mounting. The detachable solar panel allows for flexible positioning to maximize sun exposure while maintaining your desired camera angle.
- Choose a Location: Select an outdoor location with good Wi-Fi signal and ample sunlight for the solar panel.
- Mount the Camera: Secure the mounting bracket to a wall using the provided screws. The camera can then be easily attached and detached from the bracket.
- Position the Solar Panel: Connect the solar panel to the camera using the 2m charging cable. Position the solar panel to receive maximum direct sunlight throughout the day.

4. Powering On
The eufyCam C37 is powered by a rechargeable battery and continuously charged by the 3W solar panel. Ensure the solar panel is connected and exposed to sunlight for optimal performance. Approximately 2.5 hours of daily sunlight are sufficient for continuous operation.
5. App Setup
Download the eufy Security app from your device's app store. Follow the in-app instructions to add your eufyCam C37 and HomeBase to your system. The app allows for full control and configuration of the camera's features.

1. 360° AI Tracking
The camera features 360° horizontal and vertical rotation, eliminating blind spots. The AI tracking automatically keeps subjects centered in the frame, whether it's a person, vehicle, or animal.

Record videos by inserting a microSD card (up to 256GB, sold separately) directly into the camera, or connect the camera to a HomeBase. Bank-grade encryption ensures your footage remains private and under your control. No cloud subscription or hidden fees are required.

5. Active Deterrence
When an intruder is detected, the camera can activate powerful sound and light deterrents, including a 96 dB siren and a bright spotlight, to ward off unwanted visitors.

Maintenance
1. Cleaning the Solar Panel
To ensure efficient charging, periodically clean the surface of the solar panel to remove dust, dirt, or debris. Use a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals.
2. Battery Management
The eufyCam C37 features a long-lasting rechargeable battery. With adequate sunlight, the camera should maintain continuous power. If the camera's battery level drops significantly due to prolonged cloudy weather or insufficient sunlight, you may temporarily remove the camera from its mount for direct USB charging.

3. Weather Resistance
The camera is rated IP65 for weather resistance, meaning it is protected against dust and water jets. It is designed to withstand various outdoor conditions, including rain and snow, providing reliable protection year-round. However, avoid submerging the camera in water.

Troubleshooting
- Camera not connecting to Wi-Fi: Ensure the camera is within range of your Wi-Fi router and HomeBase. Check your Wi-Fi password and network settings.
- No video recording: Verify that a microSD card is inserted correctly (if not using HomeBase storage) or that the HomeBase is properly connected and has sufficient storage.
- Poor image quality: Clean the camera lens. Ensure the camera is mounted securely and not vibrating. Check network stability for live view quality.
- Battery not charging: Ensure the solar panel is clean and receiving direct sunlight for at least 2.5 hours daily. Check the connection cable between the solar panel and the camera.
