Important Safeguards

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury to persons, including the following:

  • Read all instructions before operating the appliance.
  • To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse the motor base in water or other liquids.
  • Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
  • Unplug from outlet when not in use, before assembling or disassembling parts, and before cleaning.
  • Avoid contact with moving parts.
  • Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been dropped or damaged in any manner.
  • The use of attachments not recommended or sold by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury.
  • Do not use outdoors.
  • Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter or touch hot surfaces.
  • Keep hands and utensils away from moving blades during processing to prevent severe personal injury and/or damage to the food processor. A scraper may be used but only when the food processor is not running.
  • Blades are sharp. Handle with care.
  • Always ensure the lid is securely locked in place before operating the appliance. The safety lock feature prevents operation unless the bowl and lid are correctly assembled.
  • Do not process hot liquids or ingredients with excessively high temperatures directly into the glass jar. Allow them to cool slightly.
  • This appliance is equipped with overheat protection. If the motor stops due to overheating, unplug the unit and let it cool down for at least 30 minutes before resuming use.

The base features non-slip suction cups for stability and a secure lock mechanism. The appliance will only operate when the bowl and lid are correctly locked.

  2. Assemble the Bowl:
    • For processing tasks (chopping, slicing, shredding, kneading), place the 1.5L ABS jar onto the motor base, aligning the handle with the lock symbol on the base. Twist clockwise until it locks into place.
    • For blending tasks, place the 1.5L glass jar onto the motor base, aligning it correctly and twisting to secure.
  3. Insert the Drive Shaft and Blade/Disc:
    • Place the drive shaft into the center of the bowl.
    • Carefully place the desired blade (chopping, dough knife) or disc (slicing, shredding) onto the drive shaft. Always handle blades by the plastic hub, as they are very sharp.
  4. Add Ingredients: Place your ingredients into the bowl. Do not overfill beyond the maximum fill line.
  5. Secure the Lid: Place the lid onto the bowl, aligning the tab on the lid with the slot on the bowl handle. Twist clockwise until the lid locks securely. The appliance will not operate if the lid is not properly locked.
  6. Plug In: Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions

The NEWBULIG Food Processor offers two speeds and a pulse function for precise control over your food preparation.

Control dial of the food processor showing Pulse (P), Off (0), Speed 1 (Med), and Speed 2 (High) settings.

The control dial allows selection of Pulse, Speed 1 (Medium), or Speed 2 (High) for various processing needs.

  • Speed 1 (Med): Suitable for softer ingredients, mixing, and light chopping.
  • Speed 2 (High): Ideal for harder ingredients, heavy chopping, shredding, and blending.
  • Pulse (P): Provides short bursts of power for coarse chopping, controlling texture, or starting tough ingredients. Hold the dial at 'P' and release to stop.

General Operation

  1. Ensure the appliance is properly assembled and locked.
  2. Turn the control dial to the desired speed (1 or 2) or to 'P' for pulse action.
  3. Process ingredients until the desired consistency is achieved.
  4. For slicing or shredding, use the feed tube and pusher to guide ingredients. Do not force ingredients.
  5. Once finished, turn the dial to '0' (Off) and unplug the appliance.
  6. Wait for the blades to completely stop before removing the lid and bowl.
