Setup

1. Battery Installation

1. Power On/Off

  • To power on, press the ON/OFF button. The LCD display will light up.

3. Scanning Procedure

  1. Select the desired scanning mode using the MODE button.
  2. Place the scanner flat against the surface. Ensure the entire sensor pad is in contact with the wall.
  3. Press the ON/OFF button to begin scanning.
  4. Slowly slide the scanner horizontally across the surface. Do not lift or tilt the device during scanning.
  5. Observe the LCD display for indicators:
    • Signal Strength: Bars or percentage indicate proximity to the detected object.
    • Directional Arrows: Guide you towards the center of the object.
    • AC Warning Icon (⚡): Appears when live AC wires are detected. An audible alert will also sound.
