Setup
1. Physical Placement
- Place the soundbar directly in front of your television, centered for optimal sound dispersion.
- Position the subwoofer on the floor near the soundbar. Experiment with placement to find the best bass response for your room. Avoid placing it in a corner if bass becomes too boomy.
- Ensure adequate ventilation around both the soundbar and subwoofer.
2. Connections
Connect the subwoofer to the soundbar using the provided wired connection. Then, choose one of the following audio connection methods to connect the soundbar to your TV or other audio source:
- HDMI (ARC):
Connect an HDMI cable (not included) from the HDMI ARC port on your TV to the HDMI ARC port on the soundbar. This allows audio to be sent from the TV to the soundbar and often enables TV remote control of the soundbar volume. Ensure your TV's HDMI ARC feature is enabled in its settings. - Optical:
Connect an optical cable (not included) from the Optical OUT port on your TV to the Optical IN port on the soundbar. Select 'Optical' as the audio output on your TV. - AUX:
Use the provided 3.5mm audio cable to connect your audio source (e.g., TV headphone jack, smartphone) to the AUX IN port on the soundbar. - USB:
Insert a USB drive containing audio files into the USB port on the soundbar. The soundbar will automatically switch to USB mode and begin playback. - Bluetooth:
For wireless connection, refer to the 'Bluetooth Pairing' section under Operating Instructions.
After making connections, plug the power cables for both the soundbar and subwoofer into a wall outlet.
