6. Operation
6.1. Recording Modes
The dashcam records simultaneously from all four cameras, providing a 360° view around and within your vehicle. The front camera records in 1080P, while the left, right, and rear cameras record in 480P.

Figure 6.1: 4-Channel 360° Dashcam recording coverage.
6.2. Loop Recording
The dashcam utilizes loop recording, which automatically overwrites the oldest video files when the memory card is full. This ensures continuous recording without manual intervention. Important videos protected by the G-Sensor will not be overwritten.

6.3. G-Sensor Emergency Lock
The built-in G-Sensor continuously monitors your vehicle for impacts. In the event of a collision, the G-Sensor automatically locks the current video segment, preventing it from being overwritten by loop recording. This ensures critical evidence is saved and easily accessible.

6.4. Night Vision
Equipped with 8 IR LEDs, the dashcam provides clear night vision, ensuring high-quality recordings even in low-light or dark conditions. This feature enhances visibility for both driving and parking surveillance.

6.5. Parking Monitoring (24H Surveillance)
The dashcam supports 24-hour parking monitoring. When the vehicle is parked, the system can detect impacts or vibrations and automatically begin recording. Note: This feature requires a separate hardwire kit (not included) to provide continuous power to the dashcam when the vehicle is off.

6.6. Reverse Assist
When you shift your vehicle into reverse gear, the dashcam display automatically switches to the rear camera view, providing dynamic guidelines to assist you in safe parking maneuvers.

6.7. Display Modes
The dashcam offers various display modes, allowing you to switch between different camera views based on your needs or preferences. These modes typically include Front, Inside Left, Inside Right, Back, and a combined view (Front + Inside Left + Inside Right + Back).

7. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the dashcam lenses and display. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Temperature: Do not expose the dashcam to extreme temperatures, as this can damage the device.
- Firmware Updates: Periodically check the manufacturer's website or the Viidure app for firmware updates to ensure optimal performance and access to new features.
- Memory Card: Format the microSD card regularly (e.g., once a month) to maintain its performance and prevent data corruption.
8. Troubleshooting
- Dashcam not powering on: Ensure the power cable is securely connected to both the dashcam and the vehicle's power source. Check the vehicle's cigarette lighter socket for power.
- Recording issues: Ensure a compatible microSD card is inserted and formatted. Check if the card is full (loop recording should prevent this, but a faulty card might not overwrite).
- Poor video quality: Clean the camera lenses. Ensure the dashcam is securely mounted and not vibrating excessively. Check resolution settings in the app.
- WiFi connection problems: Ensure the dashcam's WiFi is enabled. Restart both the dashcam and your smartphone. Reinstall the Viidure app if necessary.
- Parking monitoring not working: Verify that the optional hardwire kit is correctly installed and providing continuous power to the dashcam. Check parking mode settings.
