4. Setup and Charging

4.1 Charging the Device

The player comes with a built-in 1500mAh rechargeable battery. Before first use, fully charge the device.

1. Connect the provided USB Type-C cable to the charging port on the CD player.
2. Connect the other end of the USB cable to a 5V 1A USB power adapter (not included), a computer's USB port, a power bank, or a car charger.
3. The battery indicator on the LCD will show charging status. A full charge typically takes approximately 3-4 hours and provides up to 12 hours of playback.

4.2 Inserting a CD

1. Gently slide the CD compartment door open.
2. Place the CD with the label side facing up onto the spindle.
3. Press down gently on the center of the CD until it clicks into place.
4. Close the CD compartment door firmly.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Basic CD Playback

1. Insert a CD as described in Section 4.2.
2. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to start playback.
3. Press PLAY/PAUSE again to pause, and press it once more to resume.
4. Use the PREVIOUS and NEXT buttons to skip tracks.
5. Press and hold PREVIOUS or NEXT to fast-forward or rewind within a track.
6. Adjust the volume using the VOL+ and VOL- buttons.
7. To stop playback, press the STOP button.

5.2 USB Playback

The player supports MP3 files from a USB drive.

1. Insert a USB drive into the USB port.
2. The player will automatically switch to USB mode and begin playing MP3 files. If not, press the MODE button to select USB mode.
3. Use the PLAY/PAUSE, PREVIOUS, NEXT, and volume controls as with CD playback.

Note: For best performance, use a 32GB or smaller USB drive. For 64GB/128GB drives, reformat to FAT32.

5.3 Bluetooth Connectivity (Receiving Mode)

The CD player can receive audio from other Bluetooth devices (e.g., smartphones, tablets) and play it through its built-in speakers or connected wired headphones.

1. Press the MODE button until "BT" appears on the LCD display. The Bluetooth indicator will flash.
2. On your external device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
3. Select "CDP-3030" from the list of devices to pair.
4. Once paired, the Bluetooth indicator on the CD player will stop flashing and remain solid. You can now stream audio from your device to the CD player.

Note: This device functions as a Bluetooth receiver only. It cannot transmit audio to wireless headphones or speakers.

5.4 AUX Connectivity (for Car or External Speakers)

Connect the CD player to your car's audio system or other external speakers using the included 3.5mm AUX cable.

1. Connect one end of the 3.5mm AUX cable to the AUX output port on the CD player.
2. Connect the other end of the AUX cable to the AUX input port on your car stereo or external speaker system.
3. Select the AUX input source on your car stereo or external speaker system.
4. Start playback on the CD player. Audio will now be routed through the connected system.

5.5 Repeat and Program Modes

Customize your listening experience with various playback modes.

• Repeat One: Repeats the current track.
• Repeat All: Repeats all tracks on the disc/USB.
• Random: Plays tracks in a random order.
• Program Play: Allows you to program up to 20 tracks to play in a specific order.

Press the MODE or PROG button (depending on model variation) repeatedly to cycle through these modes.

5.6 A-B Repeat and Speed Control

These functions are particularly useful for language learning or musical transcription.

• A-B Repeat: During playback, press the A-B button once to set point A. Press it again to set point B. The player will then loop playback between points A and B. Press A-B a third time to cancel.
• Speed Control: Press the SPEED+/- buttons to adjust the playback speed. There are 10 speed levels. This allows you to slow down or speed up audio without changing the pitch.
