  3. Install Front Panel: Route the cable from the front panel through the door. Align the front panel with the drilled holes and secure it.
  4. Install Rear Panel: Connect the cable from the front panel to the rear panel. Align the rear panel and secure it to the door using the provided screws. Ensure the manual knob operates smoothly.
  5. Install Batteries: Open the battery compartment on the rear panel and insert the required dry cell batteries, observing correct polarity.
  6. Test Operation: After installation, test all locking and unlocking functions using the mechanical key and the manual knob before configuring electronic access methods.

4.3 Initial Setup (Tuya Platform):

The K9FH Smart Lock integrates with the Tuya smart home platform via Bluetooth connectivity. Download the Tuya Smart app and follow the in-app instructions to add your device. This will enable remote dynamic password generation and other smart features.

  • Download the "Tuya Smart" app from your device's app store.
  • Create an account or log in.
  • Follow the app's instructions to add a new device, selecting "Lock" or "Smart Lock".

5. Operating Instructions

The K9FH Smart Lock offers multiple ways to unlock your door. Ensure the lock is powered and properly configured before use.

5.1 Unlocking Methods:

  • Palm Vein Recognition:
    1. Place your palm flat over the palm vein recognition area.
    2. Hold steady until the lock verifies your palm pattern.
    3. The lock will unlock upon successful recognition.
  • Fingerprint Unlock:
    1. Place your registered finger firmly on the fingerprint sensor.
    2. Hold until the lock verifies your fingerprint.
    3. The lock will unlock upon successful recognition.
  • Password Unlock:
    1. Enter your registered PIN code on the password keyboard.
    2. Press the '#' or '✓' key to confirm.
    3. The lock will unlock if the password is correct.
  • Remote Dynamic Password Unlock:
    1. Open the Tuya Smart app on your smartphone.
    2. Navigate to your K9FH Smart Lock device.
    3. Generate a dynamic password.
    4. Enter the generated dynamic password on the lock's keyboard within the specified time frame.
    5. Press the '#' or '✓' key to confirm.
  • Mechanical Key Unlock:
    1. Insert the emergency mechanical key into the keyhole.
    2. Turn the key to unlock the door.
  • Card Unlock:
    1. Present the registered RFID card to the card reader area (usually near the keypad).
    2. The lock will unlock upon successful card recognition.

5.2 Locking the Door:

  • Automatic Locking: The lock can be configured to automatically lock after a set period once the door is closed.
  • Manual Locking (Exterior): Press the '#' key on the keypad for a few seconds to manually lock from the outside.
  • Manual Locking (Interior): Turn the manual knob on the interior panel to lock the door.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Battery Replacement:

  • The lock uses dry cell batteries. When the battery level is low, the lock will provide an audible or visual warning.
  • To replace, open the battery compartment on the interior rear panel.
  • Remove old batteries and insert new ones, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  • Close the battery compartment.

6.2 Cleaning:

  • Wipe the lock surface with a soft, dry cloth.
