This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your OFAPLFKUR G18 Tuya Bluetooth Smart Glass Lock. 2. Product Overview

The G18 Smart Glass Lock offers multiple unlocking methods including fingerprint, IC card, password, mechanical key, and Tuya Bluetooth APP. It is designed for glass doors with a thickness of 30-50mm.

2.1 Components and Dimensions

Familiarize yourself with the various parts of your smart lock:

• Front Panel: Contains the Keypad, Verify Card area, Doorbell button, Fingerprint Reader, Type-C Port (for emergency power), and Keyhole (for mechanical key override).
• Back Panel: Features the Battery Compartment, Lock/Unlock Button, Reset Button, and Lock/Unlock Knob.
• Latch: The locking mechanism that secures the door.
• Dimensions: Both front and back units measure approximately 176mm (Height) x 70mm (Width). The latch measures approximately 135mm (Height).

3. Setup and Installation

Before installation, ensure your glass door meets the specified thickness requirement of 30-50mm.

3.1 Pre-Installation Check

• Verify all components are present as per the packing list.
• Confirm the door thickness is within the 30-50mm range.
• Prepare the door for installation, ensuring clean surfaces.

3.2 Battery Installation

The lock operates on dry batteries. Open the battery compartment on the back panel and insert the required batteries, observing correct polarity. Close the compartment securely.

3.3 Physical Installation

1. Install the latch mechanism onto the door edge according to the provided template (if applicable).
2. Mount the front panel onto the exterior side of the door, feeding any necessary cables through the door.
3. Connect the cables from the front panel to the back panel.
4. Mount the back panel onto the interior side of the door, securing it with screws.
5. Test the mechanical operation of the latch and knob.

3.4 Initial Configuration (Tuya BLE Version)

1. Download the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app from your mobile app store.
2. Register or log in to your account.
3. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone.
4. In the app, select 'Add Device' and follow the on-screen instructions to discover and pair your G18 Smart Lock.
5. Set up an administrator password and register initial fingerprints and IC cards as prompted by the app.
6. The handle direction is reversible; adjust as needed during installation or via app settings if supported.

4. Operating Instructions

The G18 Smart Glass Lock offers multiple convenient ways to unlock your door.

4.1 Unlocking Methods

• Fingerprint Unlock: Place your registered finger on the Fingerprint Reader. The lock will unlock if the fingerprint is recognized.
• IC Card Unlock: Present a registered IC card to the Verify Card area on the front panel. The lock will unlock upon successful verification.
• Password Unlock: Enter your registered password on the Keypad, followed by the '#' key (or equivalent confirmation key).
• Tuya Bluetooth APP Unlock: Open the Tuya Smart app on your smartphone, ensure you are within Bluetooth range, and use the unlock function within the app interface.
• Mechanical Key Unlock: In case of emergency or battery depletion, insert the mechanical key into the Keyhole and turn to unlock.

4.2 Locking the Door

The lock will automatically engage after a short period once the door is closed. You can also manually lock the door from the inside using the Lock/Unlock Knob or from the outside using the Lock/Unlock Button on the back panel (if configured for manual locking).

4.3 Doorbell Function

Press the Doorbell button on the front panel to activate the built-in doorbell sound.

4.4 Reset Button

The Reset Button on the back panel is used to restore the lock to factory settings. Use this with caution as it will erase all registered users and settings. Refer to the app or specific instructions for the reset procedure.

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your smart lock.

• Cleaning: Wipe the lock's surface with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals that could damage the finish or electronic components.
• Battery Replacement: When the low battery warning is indicated (audibly or via the app), replace all batteries promptly with new ones of the same type. Do not mix old and new batteries.
• Fingerprint Sensor: Keep the fingerprint sensor clean and dry for accurate readings.
• Mechanical Key: Store the mechanical keys in a safe, accessible location outside the premises for emergency use.
